For those inquiring about releases, I recommend the follow if you don't have any of them:

The BBS Box Set
High and Low
The Organizer
World on a Wire
Letter Never Sent
Anatomy of a Murder
Fanny and Alexander
12 Angry Men
Summer Interlude
Leon Morin, Priest
The Music Room
Bigger Than Life
Tokyo Drifter
The Four Feathers
Kuroneko

I have many more, but those are just some of my top choices at the moment. I own Summer with Monika and Lola Montes, but I only like them, as oppose to love them. Don't recommend them as blind buys.

No advantage for me and no thrill of the OOP chase for me either. I have no wish to purchase The Third Man at $100+, all I had to do is actually buy it when it was available. No I only have small regrets of not doing so back then.

I can only recommend those I do have or seen

Modern Times - Hard to go worng with Chaplin and this is one of his great movies, lot's of fun and with a social message still important to this day

M - A dark story of a serial killing, Peter Lore is excellent in it

House - A great funny bizzare Japanese horror film be warn however it's very weird

A Night To Remember - The only Titanic worth seeing in my opinion no matter what James Cameron fanboys will tell you

Antichrist - Just weird and trying to shock for the sake of doing it, frankly did not like this movie but others here will tell you different

I may only pick up Berlin and the Gremillion Eclipse set...and maybe Down By Law, as I'm a Jarmusch fan.

House, Antichrist and Fear and Loathing are all films I'd recommend watching before you buy. They're not for everyone. The rest would all be excellent buys, but my personal favorite from your list is M.

The people over at DVDTalk seem to be almost sure it isn't happening.

I was originally on the fence about upgrading The 39 Steps. However it was worth it just for the special features. Really enjoyed the 40 minute interview with Hitch. Good stuff..

My local B&N only sells Criterion DVDs now, not Blu Rays.

Antichrist is an amazing work of art. Fantastic cinematography, and it looks amazing on the Criterion disc.

Modern Times and A Night to Remember are both amazing films, and both have great discs. In my opinion, A Night to Remember is one of the best films in the collection. Perfectly made and very realistic. The Cameron film from 1997 should have been an update of this, instead of a fictional love story using the Titanic as a backdrop.
