I'm guessing he doesn't know much about it.

I can't wait to get Richard III... I'd have loved to see Henry V soon, too. (Can't forget Hamlet either...)

Pierre Etaix sounds like a really interesting set and can't wait to see those films.

Funny thing is that I had just recently been thinking about these coming to blu. They'd look great in High Def.

Aren't you big on the Eclipse Greg? Best announcement of the month for me. Gate of Hell is very welcomed at that price point but what is more exciting is the opening of another "route" for our expected A Page of Madness. Now Criterion clearly aknowledges such a thing exists .

I've never seen Naked Lunch or Repo Man but I've wanted to for a long time, so I'll check them out. Seems like a good month, even if I've never seen these films. I don't think anything will beat the March releases for me, at least for a while.

Damn you Criterion for hurting my wallet so early this year. Month after month after month of great releases.

Love the artwork for Repo Man and Richard III.

Gate of Hell is a keeper as well. (though I'm less thrilled about the cover art on that one)

They said they want to work on those World Cinema Foundation films and put them out for the first time on dvd and blu-ray. A stunning achievement, and great films from important filmmakers from places all over the world that they have ignored. They know that it will anger 95% of the people that are loyal to them (more company lovers than film lovers), knowing that they will say "Limite? Never heard of it, when will you release stuff I have heard of!". True story.

Another expensive month...
For all intents and purposes...Repo Man supplements identical to MoC's version. The same with Gate of Hell...at least I'll sleep well tonight.

I saw Naked Lunch in the theater with my wife, when it was first released. I'll likely pick that up at one point.

I've already seen one of the two films available from the Kobayashi Eclipse set on Hulu...I Will Buy You...will have to work Black River into my schedule.

If they used the same transfer as MoC, you are in for a treat. There are no supps (just like MoC), but it's a great film and looks beautiful!

As I know he doesn't yet have a region free blu-ray player, I'm happy that Spidey will finally get a chance to enjoy it.

I don't want to complain about cover art but this film is one of the most colorful films one will see, why you don't use that for the cover art is beyond me.
