That would be cool.. if not, it's not the biggest deal, I still figure I'll get it eventually.

I'm surprised, with all of the Lynch fans on this blog, that there is no pandemonium regarding the possibility of Lost Highway!

I was referring to this version.

it's the same size as the Red River release. Is that non-dual format version in the picture?

It definitely wouldn't be Cherry 2000 Director Steve De Jarnatt has tweeted (or facebooked or something to that effect) that Kino Lorber Studio Classics will be releasing both that and Miracle Mile. (Nothing official from Kino yet, though.)

Same for Cherry 2000.
Criterion material is whatever Criterion decides is Criterion material. After all, they've done Armageddon, Flesh for Frankenstein, Blood for Dracula, and various other films that some people might consider "bad".

Jane Fonda, if you're one of those folks (not me) would still have her on their shït list for her "Hanoi Jane" days. Talk about holding a grudge.

BD only, I sold off the DVDs, trimmed the art work and booklet to fit in a normal Criterion BD case. I think it looks nice. I agree with you, the bulky packing is/was annoying. So I took matters into my own hands.

I would think Lynch fans would already have it on blu?

Those are titles that would be far more beneficial to license out for all involved.
From your lips to Warner's ear. Rationality doesn't seem to be their thing. They're just very protective of their toys.

Btw, why waste a clue on Wes Anderson film? We already knew it's coming. And WB would never license Gun Crazy.
I would be ecstatic for Lilies Of The Field, though I hardly expect something like that lol. It is a wonderful film and one I saw many times with my grandmother during childhood.

So you are saying I shouldn't hold my breath on seeing the Special "Jesus Orgy & Thigh Bone Humping" Edition of the The Devils on Blu anytime soon?

This is a Criterion-like cover for Beauty and the Beast by RebelPrince1986 posted at custom covers thread.
How happy I would be if it was that film in its original form!
It's my favourite animation film of all time.

I get that it's your own preference and so on, but this type of complaint always bugs me. For one...overall, it's not that big of a case. Its height is on par with many other Criterion releases (Godzilla, Repo Man, Seven Samurai, Dazed And Confused...), its width is basically the same as standard Blu-Ray cases, and its depth is about the same as that of the 'Seven Samurai' case.

It's not like some other cases that are too tall to fit on certain shelves, like the Apocalypse Now "Full Disclosure Edition" or third Narnia film Blu-Rays! THOSE are truly annoying!

I think these days almost anything is possible with WB. They have even let Shout Factory release a few of their TV shows like animated Beetlejuice and Welcome Back Kotter. I think WB knows they could make a lot more money off certain titles thru another distributor. Their deal for Badlands was probably a good one and now we have The New World coming (WB/NewLine)

Yeah, I know, it's nit picky... nad I'm really not always like this, but for some reason it bugs me. Funny thing is, it doesn't bug me for Godzilla. Guess I'm a hypocrite of sorts. But I'm right there with you on the ones that are taller than other BDs, or don't fit on the shelve.. that is annoying!!!

True, but I think people are coming out to see this film. It might last more than a week or two at the theater. I think its already been out for a few weeks actually. Hope you get a chance to see it.
