As much as I want The Lost Weekend I kinda want Othello a little more because it would be a good sign the people handling Welles' affairs aren't totally incompetent.

At this point I think its safe to say that we're getting the announcements tomorrow. One would think they would mention a delay or something…

Thank you so much. And she's incredibly sweet, too. I had no intention of actually getting a dog when I went to look at the pups, but when I picked her up, she licked my chin and then fell asleep in my arms, and ... well, that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

We were lucky the last couple of months to have Criterion announce their future releases a day early from their standard announcement date of the 16th, but I can see that they've gone back to announcing on their usual norm date.

Beautiful! And a great name! At a time like this, with a delayed announcement to contend with (especially with the possibility of "Bitter Rice" having been raised), it's nice to be reminded of the important things in life. Like puppies.

On the bright side, maybe they decided to do their announcements the mornings (or at least very early) of each 16 from now on, just as it was last time.

They owe no explanation. It is written nowhere that releases shall be announced on the 15th. They are not dicks.

Last complain and I am out, there have been times that they announce on the 15th that they will delay announcements until next day, so if they had never made that before, it would be fine.
