I got some Criterions to pick up during this sale...it won't be a massive haul though... my collection is up to around 250 Criterions now, so I'm only picking and choosing what I want now, not trying to be a completist or anything. In sales past, I sometimes purchased 25-30 Criterions during these 50% off sales. It was out...of...control.

But now... I'm thinking maybe 6 or 7 Criterions for this upcoming sale. I've narrowed it down to:

Mulholland Drive (Lynch! Day 1 sale purchase for me)
Code Unknown (It's Haneke...Michael f##kin' Haneke!)
Don't Look Back (Dylan baby, Dylan. Enough said?)
Ikiru (Kurosawa at his finest)
Moonrise Kingdom (Almost done with my Wes A. collection)
Two Days, One Night (This one film has gotten my attention lately. I'm sold with the Dardennes bros.)

Can't decide between the Criterion or the forthcoming MoC of RCoM - the Criterion will probably best it on extras though Eureka! have mentioned there's going to be something special on theirs'. I also prefer their cover by a long margin!

Kwaidan and The Apu Trilogy are at the top of my list, too. Luckily, the latter doesn't come out for another week so I'll have another paycheck before then and can pick it up on release day

I think Paris Texas has received a new 4K restoration, so maybe we'll see an upcoming Bluray.
Unfortunately i bought it before I knew about this.

Sorry for not keeping up with the tread, but does anyone know why amazon is out of stock on so many criterion blus? 85% of my wish list is only available from third parties, even newer stuff like A Room With a View.

It comes out in December, but usually you can order films that are out in a few weeks right? THat's what usually happens.
