For a different side of Terence Stamp, check out Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Definitely in my top 5 of Terence Stamp films.

No insights (from me) about when they might release them, but Brute Force and The Naked City are in HD on iTunes (and presumably Filmstruck?) so I would say there's a strong chance they will get the upgrade... but that could be months away or it could be years away.

I tried my best to hurry this along by purchasing the Brute Force DVD during last years B&N sale. I was also going to get The Naked City but that one wasn't even in their system anymore to order. These two are among my most wanted upgrades.

I love The Awful Truth, Only Angels Have Wings, & Rebecca. If you’re a big fan of classic Hollywood you can’t go wrong with those three. Sullivan’s Travels is a great little gem too. If you like it I’d recommend Sturges other films as well. The Palm Beach Story & I Married a Witch, and we’re still waiting on The Lady Eve.

SL&V, great film, different, but really good.

Also I own Moonrise & Midnight Cowboy but I haven’t watched them yet. I’ve got a bit of a backlog to catch up with.

I just saw their post about this on Instagram. Does this confirm that a Blu-ray release is in the works? I hope so. I bought the OOP DVD at Half Price Books for $20 not too long ago.
