This movie will release 4 years after the start of filming. Insane.

When it comes to promotion, the cast won't remember jackshit.

Great movie to kick off Summer 2022 with a Memorial Day weekend release.
Lee was gives you hope that the pandemic will be over by next spring ? Man I would like to believe that but with the amount of people in the country who won’t masks or get the shot I don’t know when this will end. Im not trying to start trouble im just telling you how things are.

That will change very quickly. We are now becoming a nation of those who are vaccinated versus those who are not. And those who are not will not enjoy the same benefits of life that those that are.

Plenty have "stood up" to the mandates. And many have paid the ultimate price for doing so.

Airlines, Cruise Ships, Movie Theaters, Restuarants, Gyms will all eventually require proof of double vaccinations. McDonalds has just announced that those stores in high infection areas should close their dining rooms - drive thru only.

We need to penalize the Anti-Vax people and reward those that do simply by allowing them to enjoy a normal lifestyle.

We can't make them get vaccinated. That's illegal at all levels. But there are laws in place that will make life difficult for them. Like get those that seek employment - those unemployment checks aren't going to continue for long - the law says an employer can refuse to hire anyone not vaccinated.

Forging a Vaccination Card is a federal offense. Just ask the lady who just got arrested with one. Said Maderna instead of Moderna.

Man thats a lot of boot licking. 1984 here we go. Before you go full authoritarian I think you should know most unvaccinated are minorities.

What a disgusting post. We've come along way from Two Weeks to flatten the curb.

The vaccinated are protected, at this point. There's no need to force anyone to get vaccinated if they don't want to. They are taking the risk with their own lives. Buyer beware.

The common thing I'm seeing out there is people saying they won't take their kids to the movies because kids can't get vaccinated. It still hasn't sunk in how low risk the virus is to children, and how they have automatic protection that's probably as good as or better than a vaccinated adult. "Some 99.995% of the 469,982 children in England who were infected during the year examined by researchers survived, one study found." That's a 1 in 200,000 risk, much lower than almost any risk of death you can think of for children or adults.

1) Those vaccines were approved.
2) Those vaccines actually worked.
3) Those vaccines haven't been mandated to access businesses like supermarkets and sporting arenas.

It's getting more than a little tiresome to hear this "anti-vax" narrative for people who are hesitant to get vaccines that we know for a fact don't prevent one from catching or spreading COVID.

the Pfizer vaccine got full FDA approval a week ago...Moderna is expected shortly...it's only been mandated to force the unvaccinated to get it...sure you can still get the virus after getting vaccinated but the chances of serious illness, hospitalization and death are much less

What? They can't get vaccinated? It's free for them. Just like it was for me and my son who had zero health insurance.

Moderna and J&J aren't approved yet. And Pfizer still isn't for people 15 and under. Plus vaccinated people are still getting the virus.

So the hesitation some may still have is understandable. And it's completely irresponsible to give people the impression that a movie theater or stadium full of vaccinated individuals who've shown their cards at the entrance(BTW, imagine the longass lines that'll result in) can't result in a superspreader event.

Lack of empathy also, starting to notice a trend here.

I been fully vaccinated since March, I actually had the virus last month. It was just like a cold, literally a cold and only lasted a week and I was ok. The vaccines work, don’t let some weirdo who says “I’m not getting it because you still can get sick” tell you different. Had I not been vaccinated, I’d gotten sicker.

So then why should vaccinated people care what the unvaccinated do? And if the vaccines don't prevent the spread of COVID, then this virus would appear to be here to stay and passports for public places are an exercise in futility. As is constantly postponing $150-200 million budgeted movies.

What was the reasoning behind not keeping the July 2019 release? That was pre-Covid times. Was it production issues?

because we need to reach herd immunity to get rid of the virus and the more people that remain unvaccinated the longer it'll take to reach that therefore these mandates will stick around
