Well I finally caved and got Netflix. I was very anti-streaming but when I set up my Sony BDP-S3100 and signed up for Netflix, I was very surprised! Compared to cable it is light years ahead, and obviously cheaper. I am now seriously considering cutting my cable and just using Netflix/library/buying for movies. Also, Netflix does not have any PQ problems like my cable seems to always have.

thinking of ways to make some money and pay the bills. i no longer have any income and used my last paycheck to pay some bills. i only got 3 unemployment checks and don't think that i'll ever receive any more checks because of what happened to me at my last temp job. i hate feeling so miserable. the stray cats i've been feeding is now up to 8 cats (used to be 4). i hate to stop feeding them now because i'm the only one they rely on for food. i need to find a damn job ASAP!!!

Thinking of making hotdogs and I would like onions with them but I really can't be bothered with the peeling,the crying,the chopping and the frying....think I'll have onion-less hotdogs....still got me mustard and ketchup.

Had a weird new years eve. Stopped drinking at 8AM, slept less than four hours and feel tired as hell. My good friend hosted the party and there were around 15 of us eating and having fun. From midnight he had invited more people who started showing up after dessert. He had invited 190 on the facebook event (its a 3-bedroom apartment but one of their roommates was not home)!! Of course not nearly that many showed up but there were a lot of people. My friend plays in a band so pretty much the whole punk/post-punk underground showed up throughout the night. Arrogant ***holes but I do like their music a lot. From 3AM onward everything went absolutely nuts. Some people wanted to fight. One guy who was so drunk he could barely stand was hitting on every girl until he crashed down the stairs taking a 6-foot bookcase with him (they live on the 5th floor). It was smashed to bits along with his face. For a few hours afterwards he was just sleeping and throwing up. One guy also put a steak in his underwear - he refused to remove it even after we told him it was there (really, really drunk). I think they were waiting for a cab to take him to the emergency room when I left (it took way too long for us to realize that he may have a concussion). We had a "Gandalf head nod" playing on a projector for 4 straight hours with some DJ playing and a semi-naked dude dancing and rubbing himself against every surface of the apartment. It was complete chaos but also a lot of fun. I hope more details of the night will surface along the way

I'd like to do the same, so much good music this last quarter of the year. 2014 should be even better.

Wow, sounds like a super fun night. This would make a really good movie, glad you had a fun time.

I like to travel..and call me crazy..but i would still like to go to North Korea. I will never go as it's just too risky. But i still would like too.

I have been to China before...so i guess that's the closest i will get.

I want to see just how bad life can be and how brainwashed they are. Visiting china really put how lucky i am to live here into perspective

sounds like a couple (maybe a few) parties i attended while in college back in 89-91. even sounds a bit like my 21st birthday party.

i guess be glad it didn't end like project x with someone riding your car like a skateboard into a pool and the neighborhood catching on fire.

Well it snowed like a mofo. Can either wait until tomorrow or venture out today. Haven't driven in the snow in awhile. Could be fun.

be careful.

there's always someone out in the snow who shouldn't be driving (probably even in normal conditions). but they attempt it anyway and cause major problems for everyone else.

so be careful and don't rush.


ot: thinking about the game later today against Oklahoma. i honestly don't know how it's gonna go. obviously i want 'BAMA to win, but i haven't seen Oklahoma play this year so i don't know anything about them. i know Bob Stoops is a great coach and usually has his teams ready to play; but i'm more worried about how our guys are gonna play since the regular season ended the way it did.

It's snowing here, around 5 inches or so thus far have made their way to my lawn and road. I need to go out for a little bit to get some groceries and a few other things. I just got to muster up the desire to go out in it.
