I'm trying to break this last bit of fever that I have. Almost done with it. It's a nice change from being in the mid to high 100s, like most of the week. Also, catching up a little with the threads here, and then I'll probably watch a bit of baseball and some of the stuff on my DVR I've missed.

Thanks, man! Glad to see your return as well. I was wondering where you've been too since I came back to the forums several days ago. I was even about to ask MBF yesterday if he's heard from you, but you coincidentally came back at the right time.

Hope all is well with you, or at least as good as things can get given whatever circumstances you're going through with your personal life. Sorry to hear that you've been sick with a high fever, as those take all the joy outta you no matter what you're doing at home. We all have those down moments every so often, myself included. That's why I took a small break from the boards. Just had tons on my mind that I needed to focus on first to better myself mentally and whatnot. Anyway, once again, great to have you back in the mix, and I look forward to our future chats and shenanigans.

P.S. - I also have way too much to catch up with on my DVR, especially with all these shows coming back or premiering around the same time it seems LOL. That's not even including RAW and SD.

Well, things are as well as they can be, I guess. The personal stuff is an ongoing thing and probably always will be, sadly. Depression and personal crap are not fun. And yeah, the pneumonia, fever, and stuff are taking a huge toll. My diet is pretty much soup and liquids with a little bit of solid food mixed in right now, and my energy is sapped pretty quickly even doing regular things.

You're right that we have to take breaks and also make sure to enjoy life as much as we can. I'm still learning that even after all these years, and that point hit home yet again recently with the discussion I had with the doctor regarding some tests that were done. I've always known my "shelf life" wasn't going to be as long as the average person, but it seems like the number is dropping quicker and quicker. It was depressing to learn that my condition is deteriorating even more and very quickly, but it also goes to show that you have to make the most out of life. And it's difficult when your life has been filled with horrible people, so it means a lot to be able to interact with great people like you and others here.

I really do hope that you're feeling a lot better, and again, you can message me anytime about anything. It can be about personal stuff, or even just to chat about how Paige is the best. I definitely look forward to our future chats and whatnot.

It is amazing how emotionally invested a person can become with their favourite sports teams.

My football team recently lost (badly) to a huge division rival. I took that hard.
My ball team lost last night and I was choked about a blown 2-1 pitch. I'm still getting over that.
My hockey team has sucked for eons, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

My night at work was pretty bad. I got close to 1/4 less than what I should've got done, but my mind was a wreck.
I don't think I should listen to games at work when they're huge. Not until I can get a grip on my emotions.

thinking i wish i had the money to buy a backpack i've been looking at for quite a while.

i've been prepared to pay the regular price (just need to save the money to do so), but now it's almost half price. even then, i don't have the extra money.

and i know that by the time i save the money it will have gone back up to regular price.

So I have a job interview tomorrow. The place just called me and asked me if I could come in tomorrow. So hopefully good things tomorrow, and I actually get the job. Because I know I could certainly use it.

I mean it's only a job at a supermarket. But it's something.

After around six months of being lazy and eating junk I've decided to change things up. Looking at new healthier recipes this weekend.

I also joined a gym back at the start of October, but after a cold and a chest infection I've only just signed up for a proper induction with a personal trainer. I've only ever done outdoor fitness/home DVDs before so I'm pretty nervous about my induction this Sunday - mostly because I look like a beached seal when exercising.

Television commercials are getting increasingly messed up. I just saw one where a couple are in the hospital after having a baby, and the nurse eats the baby alive. Granted, they were Pop-Tarts, but still.

They've been messed up for a while. I mean, Burger King had a series of ads with a family comprised of the father being a Whopper / human hybrid, a teenage son as a Whopper Jr. hybrid, human mother, and human teenage daughter!

Basically, that woman had sex with a half-man / half-hamburger creature at least twice, and gave birth to a (seemingly) normal girl, and a half-human / half-hamburger baby. What was the latter's birth like (let alone the sex act between the Whopper / human father and the human mother!)? Did they swaddle him in a burger wrapper and bring him home from the hospital in a paper bag?

There were even commercials with the Whopper Jr. son having a girl in his room. Who knows what they were planning to do? Maybe they'd end up making more half-food mutant creatures! Then, of course, there are the newer Burger King commercials where the chicken and the box of fries are "pregnant" and give birth to BK Chicken Fries.

All messed up when you think of it.
