The episode this is based on is so good. Nothing like a bunch of villains sharing a card game speaking of their near-success with the end of Batman...

I still love this show but I do think it's getting a bit overrated these days. I mean, is this really the "definitive Batman"? Considering this is a character that has been around for more than 3/4 of a century, it's impossible to say what is definitive. It's like Dracula and Sherlock Holmes. Everyone is open to a different interpretation, and whether you like a certain interpretation or not, it's a big reason why Batman is still relevant. For example, my favorite interpretation are the Nolan films. I prefer that style and tone. Doesn't make them the "true" Batman mythos but I just prefer them.

This card game is so dorky and kitschy it went from being retro-cool all the way back to lame as hell.

I’ve got a question, I have this set on BD and I saw it’s on HBO Max as well, my question is, on the main page it listed “the cat and the claw” part 1 as the 1st episode, but when I looked at the booklet inside of the BD, it listed “On leather wings” so which one is the very 1st episode of this show?

Probably my all-time favorite episode. I bought the game a few years ago, but still haven't played it.

On Leather Wings is, visually if nothing else, leagues ahead of 'The Cat and the Claw."

The Cat and the Claw was the first episode that aired on television. It premiered on a Saturday (might have been a special prime time broadcast; I can't remember), with Part 2 airing the following Saturday. The series began airing properly on weekdays that week between the two episodes.

It sounds like HBO Max might have the episodes listed in broadcast order, where as the Blu-ray set has the episodes in original production order.

I have a question!
I remember in the 90s' watching this series that there was a scene where someone opens a car door and Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy were sitting in the car looking all sexy and very lesbian lovers pose. Anybody remember what season and episode name that is from?

Hate how they changed the animation style in seasons 2 and 3. Catwoman went from looking sexy to is it a man in that costume. Then she went from blonde sexy hair to black hair looking butch cut.

Some of us think these are the best Batman tv cartoons ever.
Those 70s' ones had crap animation, voices and stories.
Ever hear the 70s' Joker's voice it's so annoying.

This series is the reason Ra's al Ghul became my favorite Batman villain.
While I would love to see this series get a Blu-ray set, I have come to terms it's unlikely to happen. Bruce Timm said the show was made to look grainy and vintage and that a Blu-ray restoration would take away the vintage grainy look
I think SPEED RACER is way better based on the stories, voices and animation.
JONNY QUEST # 2. 3rd season animation sucks for BATMAN.

Right? RIP the very best Batman.

I'm glad he got a chance to appear as Bruce Wayne even if it was the CW.

Another piece of my youth gone. End of an era for me. Was just the warmest, nicest man when I had the pleasure of meeting him about a decade ago, and, the cameo birthday wish from him that my wife gifted me a few years ago is a cherished keepsake. Rest easy, sir.

The Arkham Video Game Series was one of his best jobs as Batman.
