I still love this show but I do think it's getting a bit overrated these days. I mean, is this really the "definitive Batman"? Considering this is a character that has been around for more than 3/4 of a century, it's impossible to say what is definitive. It's like Dracula and Sherlock Holmes. Everyone is open to a different interpretation, and whether you like a certain interpretation or not, it's a big reason why Batman is still relevant. For example, my favorite interpretation are the Nolan films. I prefer that style and tone. Doesn't make them the "true" Batman mythos but I just prefer them.
