Transfer for this disc is clean, robust, and anomaly free.

Not a night and day difference from the original blu-ray, which was practically perfect as is. But there is a noticeable increase in fine detail.

The HDR is very much subdued. Only moments with any real noticeable specular highlight detail are the interiors of the tunnels with the LED lights during the chase sequence. The lights at the end of the film during the climax. The overhead lights inside of the evidence room when Reacher is first given the opportunity to look at the evidence.

The color grading actually looks very much similar to the blu-ray.

However, one area that the UHD does feature a major improvement is the color temperature. The BD did feel overly warm at points, even making the skin tones look a tad too bronze. I’m happy to report that the UHD disc still features a warm color, but with a much welcomed, more natural approach.

I’m very happy with the disc.

Sounds good to me.

I never owned the regular Blu-ray so I'm looking forward in getting this.

The cooler temperature has me concerned. The BD has been one of my favourite discs because of its warmth.

It’s not a cooler temperature. They just neutralized the skin tones, which was needed.

As great as the blu-ray was, there were moments where some of the actors looked damn near orange.

The UHD is still a warm presentation overall.

As long as it maintains its warmth I’ll be good. Will know soon enough.

I really hated the second movie and I was extra disappointed as I'm a big Cruise fan and I don't like hating any of his movies.

The first movie was good though. Although not as good I think as some of the praise it gets on here.

It's one of his best movies in recent years. Better than the recent Mission Impossible movies.

Don't get me wrong! I like the recent Mission Impossible movies, but for me, they pale in comparison to the first 3 Mission Impossible movies. With each new Mission Impossible movie, they try to top the last one in terms of outrageous stunts Tom Cruise does himself but seem to forget about some sort of actual good plotting. It's as though everything is just a set up for Tom's next most outlandish stunt he does himself. The first 3 were not like that. They were basic, good spy action movies. And it felt like the plot was there for a good reason. Not there simply to set up the next stunt piece.

But Mission Impossible 2 is just an excuse for big stunts!

No, not at all. There aren't really that many big stunts in MI:2. Not like in Rouge Nation anyway.

There is a ton.
The opening alone is massive, not counting the bike chase the biotech fight and the fight at the end.
