I bought this with my special lady in mind but I got a real kick out of it. Light and funny but with a razor edge and with two great performances from AK and BL. Plus it's a real purdy looking disc.

Nope. Some LG and Sony titles don’t get a release here in Canuck land. Entertainment One distributes here for LG for some releases. There was a bunch of Sony titles I had to import last year.

Someone was selling a brand new UHD copy w/slipcover on eBay for $14.75, so I just blind bought this. Hoping for good things!
I bought for a little less off ebay. They slit the plastic wrapping and snuck the code outx but most of the plastic was still on it. It was advertised with no code but I had never seen this technique.

This is $2.99 for rent in UHD on Vudu this week and I HIGHLY recommend doing so, as I quite enjoyed it. In fact I'd say it's a pretty great comedy thriller, which isn't a genre you hear about much. I plan to buy the UHD disc in a sale someday, I liked it that much. Want to hear the commentary.
Vudu stream looked nice, very bright and colorful movie so lots of good HDR. Looked like a BD detail wise of course, and lots of compression in the blacks at times, but the movie itself is a looker. Eager to see the disc.

Definitely one of the nicer surprises of last year. You'll be very happy with the disc when you get it. As you say, the look of the movie is perfect for the format - all crisp, colourful and shiny
This has been a great day for blind buys. I watched this and Bad Times at the El Royale knowing next to nothing about them and they were both great movies and great discs. Lots to like here. Vivid colors (especially those greens in the outdoor scenes), excellent black levels, and superb detail on everything from outfits to food to stationary. The movie kept me chuckling just as much as it kept me (sort of) guessing. As the father of a 3-year old I also really got a kick out of the little boys. Nothing else quite like it in my UHD library. Recommended.
After the first 10-15 or so minutes, i almost gave up on this movie, but fought through the beginning without knowing anything about the movie at all, and actually thought it was a pretty awesome movie...
Out of curiosity... I waited quite some time until I bought this, because I wanted to have a cover with the proper (yet misspelled ) title without the 'u' (yes, I care), but didn't want to pay that much for the US release with this one.
Question being: Does the UK version actually come with the 'u'-title? The actual title in the movie I mean?
I think that would really be a little oddity, since usually they tend to just keep the original title - be that the American or the British version (take "The Favourite" for ex). Weird.
