I did not buy it for that reason either. Surely WB release a set with the 2 films in 4K.

There’s no guarantee that the DC will be released. Plus that scene was never shoot it was only in the script they decided not to shoot it from what I read when I read that part from the script.

The director of Godzilla (2014) said the deleted scenes would be on the Blu-ray, but no dice. It probably isn't happening.
