Same here. They said to wait until the 30th. Then I guess they'll send another. Although the artist for the new covers has heavily hinted that there will be a deluxe edition of Prince of Darkness too.

That's a heavy hint? Eh, I'll gladly get the PoD CE if one appears down the track, the steel should fetch enough moolah to cover it.

I still haven't received my steelbook of PoD from zavvi. My EFNY collector's set is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, I can't believe I'm gonna get that first when the steelbook shipped almost a month ago.

Was just looking to see if there was a PoD CE coming out like the other JC films, will just wait and see if that comes out then.

That's fair, maybe it's a hint, maybe it isn't, but to me it read pretty clearly as one. It'd be an odd thing to say otherwise, and it's also weirdly specific

Well, yeah, but as it's the only one out of the four that doesn't have a CE it's hardly some wildly esoteric thing to wish for, I think everyone who's got the other three wants to complete the set! And maybe the artist fella gets paid again if they use the art on another set?

I think he also confirmed on twitter that he would be working with them for more releases a while back (if these were successful, presumably). So it's always a possibility!

Bought Prince of Darkness from Zavvi. Product page said its Ultra HD but what i got was regular bluray.

So disappointing false advertising.

If it wasn't the steelbook you ordered then it's not UHD, there has been no other UHD release of PoD yet.

The documentary that comes with this

Compression is simply terrible at times but not only that, the camera keeps going in and out of focus in some of the talking heads. Small moan but still kinda irritating.

Yeah, when it comes to the documentaries I can handle how janky they look as long as they don't go Full Shout and completely **** the encoding, particularly of old featurettes that combine film and video sources.

Has anyone watched 'Rambo takes the '80s' yet on the new Rambo BDs? Some of the movie footage they use literally looks like it was taken from a shitty 240p stream

Haha yes, it's terrible. Aspect ratio is also wrong some of the times. It really looks like they took it straight from a YouTube channel that was created in 2005.

Had that issue too. My Prince of Darkness was supposedly shipped at the same time as The Fog and They Live. The latter showed up on the same day, but PoD didn't arrive until about 2 1/2 weeks afterward.
