Yeah, I suggested that about a month back. I didn't know WHEN the showing was. So maybe the remaster was for the theatrical showing? We'll find out.

They will probably use the DCP shown at the Royal Albert Hall last year. That looked great and colour wise brilliant compared to the 4k.

Incidently by Google play of STM has been updated to the 4k master albeit at lower resolution and looks rubbish.

The concert used the previous HD transfer and not the 4K. It has an updated Warner Bros. logo (seen only on streaming) and doesn't have the Reeve credit glitch.

Yes I know, I was there. It didn't feel like an upscale, it definitely wasn't the 4k. But accept your info is probably correct.

I expect so, what I saw last year was the 2001 swooshes and door slam, so I suspect its the same digital file.

Will find out on Saturday.

I will look when able tomorrow and test it for the soundtrack when the KDM unlocks, I plan to watch in full Monday but since I don't do remixes I will have to research for tells as to what mix it is.

yeah, it can let us know if its a 2018 file or something later, and the date should be in the file when you look at it in your theater server as an example below is the CPL for Air, you see the year 1st, so its a 2023 file, then the month and day,
so March 31, 2023 is when the Air DCP was created for distribution

Right off the bat, the projector is a little muted in the new mix. The credits have this obnoxious sound to them when they fly by. Specifically, Donner's credit has this "BONG" that goes with it.

There's this screech when the dome opens past the point of the light pointing to the sky where Zod & co. are standing.

If you hear that, it's the newer mix.

The S on screen will sound like a door slam when it completes on screen in the titles.
