And it sadly probably wouldn't be Sony because I think they just lost the rights to the next Bond movie.
But that's exactly it, the rights that are up for tender are just to make new Bond movies, not to distribute their existing catalogue, e.g. you never saw Sony release any Bond movies other than their own (and even the distribution rights to those have since reverted back to MGM via Fox). Creed and Mag 7 were the same, they were co-produced with MGM by Warners and Sony respectively and so they handled the home video versions including the UHDs, but it didn't mean that Warners had the rights to the Rocky catalogue or that Sony could release the original Mag 7.

They could have a licencing fire sale and you'd see a singhcr transfer and UHD release

Really do hope Bond gets the UHD treatment. Would love to see the older movies in that format, obvious rear projection and all... One of the great things about some UHD’s is the cinematic feel you get and Bond deserves that in spades.

As for M:I will end up preordering this boxset since 4 and 5 will hopefully look great and worthy of an upgrade. But for me the jewel in the crown is part one, even though 5 is a better film. Never upgraded the first three films and I still own the initial DVD releases (widescreen banner and all)

My wife bought me a Coke branded machine last year. I use it all the time. I even went the extra step and bought the red baskets and old school diner ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles for them. I’ll be eating a lot of dogs when the MI’s come out. Only problem is my laundry room is on the same floor as my theater room so my clothes smell like hotdogs.

Ketchup should be banned entirely, but putting it on any food which hasn't been ruined already is wrong on nearly every level.

I don't like either (together or individually) but I wasn't aware this was something anyone ever debated, as I see people putting ketchup on hot dogs all of the time.

And while I'm considerably happier with the new UHD cover art, does anyone else find the main pic of Cruise used on Rogue Nation to be a bit out of place? Why no profile shot?!
