Never gonna happen. And just because it was there doesn't help me to appreciate the movie any, for it only makes it even more choppy. If you properly look at it the shoot-outs are so badly mangled in the edit it's not even funny.

IIRC a lot of trims were made because they would've made the movie R, so adding that stuff back in could help the action scenes.

Exactly! Imagine if we were to go back and neuter Face/Off or Hard Target. They both have lines just as cheesy as the lines delivered in M:I-2, but we love them in those flicks? Hmmm

But as I said, never gonna happen. So it is what it is.

To whomever receives this message in a bottle; they've kept M:I:2 the subject of discussion for longer than anticipated. What remains of my dwindling strength is unknown. Cover art being revealed was the last news of note yet that must've been months ago by now. Not sure of how much more I can take.

Lord only knows what historians will think of that Limp Bizkit music video.

MI2 rocks!

100 years from now they will probably hail it as the pinnacle of art through all of human history. Limp Bizkit will be given their rightful place in the music hall of fame next to Elvis Presley and The Beatles. And MI2 itself will rank #2 after Citizen Kane on AFI's list of most important films of all time.

Yeah I have about as little faith in future historians as I have in today's politicians and UHD reviewers .

Now can they announce that boxset already!

If Paramount breaks their tradition of releasing U.K. box sets of their flagship properties, I’ll be so irritated considering the M:I films are the only ones I’ve actually wanted to purchase.

I’m not a very impatient person, but time’s ticking and I’m just sayin’... it’d be just my luck. Because the world revolves around me.

Personally, I'd rather have a box set with all six films, for completion's sake... until they make a seventh one.

I never buy box sets when I know another film is coming. Don't have to worry about another Dark Knight or Harry Potter messing up my box sets.

I remember when they released a 10-film Star Trek movie set on DVD, and only the first movie was a 2-disc collector's edition because that was the first movie they did it for. Then they made one for Star Trek II, so they released a box set with 2 collector's edition and 8 regular edition. Then they made one for Star Trek III, so they released a box set with 3 collector's edition and 7 regular edition. Then they made one for Star Trek IV....

You can pre-order these with an automatic 20% off on target.com. They were already on sale for 25.79 to begin with

I love Broken Arrow even with the technical aspect of Woo telling his sound design team/editors "make this movie loud ... REAL LOUD !!" - the audio in the theater and on the laserdisc edition were ear bleeding.

How much do you think one could sell each digital copy for?

I believe digitals could be sold for anywhere from $6-$8/9 assuming they are 4k codes.

Its up for pre-order today. Plus if you have a Target Red Debit or Red credit card you get an extra 5% more plus free shipping. The movies are $19.60 with shipping each before taxes with the deal.
