So is this even a steelbook? And is there news about subtitles if you order this from example from amazon.uk?

Definitely not going to buy any plastic blurays to my shelves, already have the 35th edition steelbook and pretty happy with that.

I hope they don't cancel my pre-order. I used a rewards zone certificate to get it.

I hope they dont cancel it either, but at least you would still have your rewards zone certificate back to use on something else if needed.

Maybe it was pushed back a week, that’s when the Canadian disc is coming out.

Casetopia is a reseller, not a manufacturer. I have bought from both their ebay store as well as their website without issue. I currently have some black uhd single, double, and triple cases coming so I can finally upgrade the crappy eco cases that came with the scream set. Since I've also added several discs of extra content the multi-disc cases will work perfectly. The only one I don't like is the quad case that stacks 2 discs on each hub.

Buy the 4K UHD. Place the disc inside the Steelbook. Throw the Blu-ray in the bin.

so over at Frightfest in the UK, they've just screened the 'premiere' of the 'UK restoration' which has confused me a bit as it appears that there has been a brand new 4K restoration done recently

Yes, that was announced at the end of July. As with Alien, there is a new 4K remaster.

I just noticed there is a face in the knuckles that is holding the knife. Does anyone think that this was John Carpenter's idea, or is it just pure imagination from anyone looking closely at the artwork?

Just put my Watchmen UHD in the BD steelbook last night. Did it before for Batman v Superman and Mad Max: Fury Road. The anal packaging hordes are storming my house right now with torches and pitchforks.

Mind you my tomb raider official steelbook has a DVD and BD logo and not a hint of 4k logo

Suicide Squad too has a normal BD logo. I think quite a few early steels did. That's one reason it doesn't bother me. The official name is 4k Ultra HD Blu-Ray anyway right!

I simply sell the old release and put the funds towards the new one. That way nothing gets salvaged or thrown away. I don't like having multiple versions of the same film, unless it's an alternate cut. I used to be the complete polar opposite and as a result was running out of storage space and money.

I've only got the nice and compact Scream Factory boxset of Halloween, so this is a no-brainer buy.
