I ordered 2-5 from them. They shipped early, but naturally the USPS is running late yet again, as usual. Side note, I truly HATE USPS tracking. It's fine so long as there are no delays (increasingly rare). But once the initial ETA comes and goes, you're lucky if you get one update per day that literally only says "running late", and that it's still "on the way". Useless.

Look how nice those all look with their correct cover art! I have no interest in any of the stupid sequels (well, maybe III, as a stand-alone), but seeing all those lined up looking like themselves feels like everything is right in the world, again.

I ordered my from Amazon, and they haven’t shipped yet. My local Best Buy doesn’t seem to have ‘em in stock. I’m patient, so I don’t mind waiting for them to ship. I might order them directly from Shout! Factory and which ever order ships first, I’ll just get a refund. Besides Amazon is definitely cheaper than Shout! Factory.

I also pre-ordered from Amazon Canada, but in August. The expected delivery date has been October 13-14 since I placed the order, and nothing's changed so far. I'm guessing the lack of stock only affects future orders...

Unforgiven is the exact disc that got me to do the same thing. Funny, I had completely forgotten about adjusting that setting and that I have that service remote lying around somewhere.

A few shots I prefer the Lionsgate... at least it looks that the Scream has less grain on these two shots in particular... could be contrast or over sharpening?
The house itself lacks detail found on the Lionsgate https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&...79015&i=12&l=1 and this shot, I don't know https://caps-a-holic.com/c.php?go=1&...179006&i=2&l=1 Thoughts? |

And it's not only the quick jumps back to brightness that drove me nuts; the dark scenes got SO dark because of the dimming that it made those scenes unwatchable. Once I turned ABL off, everything was great. No brightness jumps and no dimming dark scenes. If I ever upgrade my set, shutting ABL off is the first thing I'll be doing.
