So if I'm understanding correctly these new lossless audio tracks on the 4K discs are merely the same ones from the Scandiavian releases and the standard BDs are the regular US original discs?

I really wish Paramount gave some love to the Blu-rays that come in these sets. Don't have a 4K setup yet (not sure when I will) and Mi:III is one of my favorite actions movies. Can't stand to listen to it with lossy DD 5.1

Scandanavian BD is region-free with lossless audio, just import that.

Well they can’t be exactly the same ones as the BDs were DTS-HD and the UHDs have TrueHD.

I'm in the same boat as you. MI:III is my favorite (to date) of all the Mission Impossible films. But, I don't know when I'll be upgrading to 4K. I've been waiting impatiently, for Benq to come out with a short throw version of there 4K projector. Why couldn't Paramount have taken the time, to put the lossless track on the included Blu-ray disc?

Then buy a Sony X700 and play the UHD disc using your current TV until you can afford a good UHD HDR display.
