I really enjoyed it. But (apart from that amazingly-improved screengrab of his leg stump), the 4k just looks darker and not much better PQ-wise in every single other scene in that comparison video above.

I really hope this hits a good BF price. My uncles copy came in early yesterday and let me borrow it since he’s out of town. The sound on this is reference and the HDR in the big crane jump scene alone is jaw dropping. The colors of the fire in HDR too are stunning.

Rented the BD from Redbox. Lots of moments screamed "this would look amazing in HDR!" Sadly I didn't like the movie much. It's more a disaster movie than an action movie. Not my thing.

That was the vibe I got from my viewing, and the hints of action we do get were pretty generic and/or forgettable.
