I didn't think it was too bad. It's a good movie to pass the time on lazy weekends, IMO. We'll get some viewings out of it. It's a bit of a throwback to the 80's action movies with some CGI.

For doubters, I'd recommend a rental before buying.

I'm assuming this was shot digitally? It really looks like film to me but I'm guessing it's not. I really liked the cinematography in this.

Picked this up today with Fallen Kingdom. Looked excellent for the most part but the elevated blacks affected the black bars. Still looked great overall with bold colors and when blacks weren’t elevated contrast was very nice. HDR had plenty of scenes that shined. The Atmos track was excellent.

Just watched this disk and WOW. This disk has some of the best Dolby Vision implantation I’ve seen on a Blu Ray so far!

Universal has some nice DV discs. Fallen Kingdom is another stunner.

This movie would have made 100 million more dollars if they had just called it Duct Tape. Anyway, it may be dumber than a bag of Rocks but it’s good mindless fun and the disc looks and sounds very nice. It’s a bit noisy at times and black levels are not so hot but there’s lots of pop and depth to soak in. Saw it in Dolby Cinema and enjoyed it more the second time around.

Didn't test DV yet but HDR10 no issues whatsoever.

Skyscraper is a popcorn flick, like any other big budget, action/adventure movie. The movie has succeeded what it was made to do, and that is to entertain.

I watched (well half watched) this in 4K, entertaining but need to re-watch it more solidly. Is the 3D good? I got the HMV special edition (UK) that has 3D in.
