If you want the currently best standard blu-ray that comes with lossless audio you'll need to import the Scandinavian release.

Yeah, they are matching Walmart.com's price. If anyone is interested in locking it for that price, should pre-order from Amazon now before they too raise the price after noticing that Walmart doesn't have either for $19.96.

I figured these were the two that would look best in 4K, and checking the Blu-Ray.com reviews, that "theory" was confirmed. I'm a HUGE fan of these movies, but enjoyed 4 & 5 even more than 2 & 3 that had moments, but overall weren't spectacular. Saw they were $25.95 on Amazon and kinda thought in the back of my mind, "When they drop..."

Well first the 5th movie dropped to $20 on Amazon and I purchased that title. Then a few hours later the 4th one dropped to, so I've bought that one. I had no idea Wal-Mart had these on sale, but I'm sure glad they did. Made my Amazon purchases no-brainers!

To be honest I hope JJ Abrams or someone Abrams adjacent comes back for a sequel because after finishing all five today the third is my favourite.

They're all great though, even the second! I hated it considerably less this time around. It's fun!

What's even odder is that it's a UK disc (it has BBFC ratings on it amongst the others if I remember), they must have made so many of the older release that they just haven't bothered (or needed to) to print and release new versions for the UK.

This has been happening a lot with some of the bigger 4k releases at Best Buy in 2018. Everything from the individual Nolan movies to The Matrix. I think it's actually a pretty business savvy move because it drives demand. They get a couple copies in and then you have to wait for a restock. But there are always restocks, and almost every week. People are actually hunting to spend their money on day1 new releases now instead of waiting for sales. It gives people an immediacy to buy. Instead of seeing 20 units on the shelf and then walking away. All of that, and sometimes these things are just running a week or longer behind for distribution.

I know that it certainly has gotten me to spend more money on occasion, instead of waiting for sales like I usually do.

Cap 8 has me intrigued on why they changed the color so drastically. Its almost as if they wanted to change the time of day from what looks like midday, to twilight. Can't remember that part of the movie though to know if the changes make sense or not though.

On this one above, I don't see much magenta on the UK though? And its strange that the last shot almost flip flops between the UK and UHD from where they were on shot 8.

My Amazon order of 1-3 updated to ‘Arriving Friday’ after I placed an order through Best Buy, which is also arriving Friday. Guess I’ll have two copies of each.
