You sure? Today I received my French/Dutch/Belgian copy but it said that the 4K disc also has an English DD+ core.


I know covers aren't always right, but now I'm wondering who's right, Pieter V/Mezzanine or the cover?

Shall I open my copy to verify, and sell it for peanuts when it turns out to have a DD+ core, or just return it, and get myself a UK copy or so?

It's a print error. The 4K disc is fine, I can assure you that.

I don't think there are any titles that have lossy Atmos on disc like the DD+ version used on streaming platforms.

It's been talked about the WB ones in Germany using it, but I have a few of them and they're all lossless (Atmos/TrueHD).

I'm not sure if it's happened on UHD yet but Warners have definitely done this on some Euro BDs, for example the French Blu of Sully has a lossless French Atmos track but the English Atmos is indeed lossy DD+. It's not so much that the main language for that territory is lossy, but the English one could get downgraded.
