I don't think Salah has a stake in those films anymore. I think Blairwood is owned by one or both of the Dudelson brothers, James and Robert.

Be sure to include Martin and The Night Flyer in there as well if you're taking a couple minutes out of your day to do so.

The 2D is held up because he won't let the rights go for anything remotely approaching reasonable amounts. It's been hypothesized many times that this is largely because he took such a huge hit on the 3D conversion (it cost millions of dollars) that he's trying to recoup the terrible investment by trying to hold out for a huge payday that will never come. Some evidence for that would be he allowed releases before dumping his millions into that 3D conversion but has since held the film for hostage.

Now if he would license for a reasonable amount, he'd get his ****ing money back from royalties! Bring that up if at a Q & A. Maybe work out a new royalty structure if need be. Then everyone could win as the fans could get a nice new transfer and a hold of the movie they want. Put out the 3D version a while later, and follow that with a box like the dvd had, no doubt he'd get his loot back. Simple answers.

Yes go to the site and buy his merchandise or send him a check for 30 bucks as everyone should to raise big money for him so he can finally license the movie and also ask him to have Dawn 3D shown in all major city theaters to raise money and all for him.

Don't send unsolicited money to millionaire producers, expecting an act of benevolence in return.

Never mind, just trying to help but what about just telling him if we buy the Dawn merchandise from the site it can help him earn money back.

Or how about if we tell him to make a book behind the scenes on Dawn of the Dead for the 40th anniversary and have it published so fans can buy the book and can earn back the profits?

You can substitute the word producers for just about anything, and I think I have seen next level brilliance quoted on an Internet forum. Damn fine advice.

Why ask a question to an answer we've known for years now.

Maybe? You think he might actually die some day? Seriously though, wishing for a person to hurry up and die, just so you can get a new edition of a film. That's probably the most pathetic thing I have ever read on here.

I'm not wishing for anyone to die as i would never do that but just saying if suddenly he dies unexpectedly sometime as people don't last forever you know, there will be someone in charge of New Amsterdamned entertainment to actually give a damn about releasing Dawn, Martin and Night Flier on BD.

I just hate how much a greedy assmunch he has become lately.

Maybe forum posters 'suggesting' folks' deaths will have some kind of revelation where they experience love or loss in a way that they're able to put what they thought life was into perspective, am I right?! Alas. Probably not.

They have the Anchor Bay blu on eBay for like $35-40 at times. It's not that big of a deal to the point of wishing death on someone for holding on to rights or predicting what'll happen when he *finally* dies.

Can't say I didn't think this as well. Sad it's come to this, but this might be the only way. Preferably he'll some day turn off the douche instead, but what's the likelihood that will ever happen? Why would someone just let a couple classics rot somewhere and not want to see it get a nice release and cherished by many fans? All because of money and his dumb choices. I don't really have sympathy for the guy. Seems like a real scumbag.
