Glad that the set has already been uploaded to the database here but someone should should fix the 4K + Blu-ray part (it's not a combo pack).

I've adjusted it to 4 discs (three UHDs plus additional material), but until the set's up for pre-order, we can't be certain. The extras will probably be on a Blu-ray, anyway.

No, but that sounds like my worst nightmare.
Could be the inclusion of Dvd's (waste) and/or soundtrack cd's(good). Maybe comic reprint? Maybe a shirt or larger poster?

Ryan in the Vinegar Syndrome thread looks to have made a soft announcement of DOTD in 4k.

Is there going to be a standard Blu, or do I have to buy the 4K combo pack?

Yep, that they won’t be releasing it. Just another 4k title. Their 2nd after Tammy & the T-Rex. The

No. I never encountered this problem with either the DVD, HD DVD or Blu-ray versions of the branched TC/ITC/DC disc.

Yeah, just realized. My bad.

At any rate, Well Go would still be a perfect contender.

Honestly, I just want the U.S. Theatrical Cut on Blu-ray. I feel that that is the best version of the film.

Pretty crazy that one of the best horror films of all time, doesn't have a good Blu-ray here. I still think someone has the rights to it, and hope we also get an October release. It's not Severin or VS for sure. I still think it's Criterion, but would be happy with Arrow or Shout!

His name is Richard P. Rubinstein. He was the producer on a few of Romero's films and currently owns the rights to "Dawn of the Dead" and "Martin". He reportedly sank a lot of money into a 3D conversion of Dawn about 7 years ago that never materialized into anything. He reportedly has unrealistic expectations for licencing it too, like to the tune of millions of dollars. By all accounts he's the main roadblock in getting it reissued in the US.

He means he thinks that a US studio has the rights but haven’t made an announcement yet for whatever reason.

I want all cuts. The theatrical is missing some gore.

Taken out by Romero himself. Not because of censorship.

I'm in the minority, but I love the extended cut more. I just want that one on HD on Blu-ray in the US.

I wonder if Well Go was the mystery label that Rubinstein backed out on as there were some rumors that they were going to release Dawn.

It still sucks. I like having all the gore intact.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I want that 3D cut! I have the old OOP blu-ray, but I would double-dip if the 3D was included in this set.
