Second Sight's UHD 4K/BD combo set is my most anticipated blu-ray of the year.

The UK at least have standards when releasing movies that aren't on blu-ray unlike that egotistical Richard Rubenstein who asked for ridiculous amounts of money from studios because he was trying to cash-in on that short lived 3D craze.

If you're not region free and non-4K compliant, best be getting a region free player for the BD's. You now have much more time to do so. If you're 4K then you're folden since 4K's are region free anyway.

There will be two sets. One UHD only, and one Blu only.

Delayed for now, with no clear date. I believe release date is still set, but that could change with world events.

Slowdown tinkerbell. No need for the salty response. My comment alluded that the DOD release will not come out anytime soon since the pandemic is here. This may give folks more time to save up, or whatever, in order to purchase a region-free player.

I don't have to worry about the region coding foolishness now as long as stuff is on 4K UHD and not on standard Blu-ray.

Still, if this is announced on these shores before the big order date, then I might go that route.
