Still happy to have the AB version on Blu-ray. I'd buy it again if extras are extensive, but my AB copy is autographed so I'm stuck with it regardless of any new version.

Anchor Bay doesn't have the rights. It belongs to the films producer (Richard P. Rubinstein and his company; New Amsterdam Entertainment). Scream/Shout tried to obtain the rights but the price was too high.

I'm thrilled that the price was too High for Scream / Shout. Their overall presentations on BLU are not on par with what BLU ray standards should be. I love SHOUT / Scream and drop a lot of money on their releases but they need some better input into the technical side of their releases.

IMHO the JP disc is the best release of NOTLD in the world, period.

I asked this question a couple of pages ago but I guess it got overlooked. Anyway, what's the absolute best presentation of this film as far as PQ goes? I know the Anchor Bay Edition is no longer in print and goes for a pretty penny. I know also that they used quite a bit of DNR on their release so with the prices people are asking for it, I don't think I'll go out of my way to grab that edition. So again, what's the absolute best in the PQ category? Thanks in advance for answers.

The U.K. disc has slightly better PQ than the U.S. disc, but it's been OOP for an even longer period. I would go for whichever you can find for cheaper.
