I caved and bought the regular second sight 4k. It has a rigid slipbox, the original poster as the cover and all 3 cuts. All that's missing is the extras (they are region locked on an extra blu ray I can't read but I also own the ultimate dvd edition with lots of extras anyhow) and a nice booklet (they had a book with the limited edition).
I can't see Criterion topping this, honestly. But hopefully i'm wrong and I end up double dipping on this. :P

You have to follow them, click on their story, and the first post has a button you press to ask them a question.

ALSO, they answered my question. They said THERE WILL BE a US Dawn of the Dead release by the end of the year, unless their is any replication issues.

I guess now we'll truly know if this guy is telling the truth or not, but I'm putting my money on Criterion as they seem to have some sort of inside information with them.

Arrow always seemed like the right fit for the film. But I'm hoping Criterion treats it well.
And here's hoping Martin is scooped up in that deal and not regulated to being a bonus feature.

Yeah, it's probably going to be Criterion. Hopefully by that point they start releasing titles in 4K because I'm not going to be prepared for the hundreds of comments of why there isn't a 4K.

The ultimate twist would be if it's Vinegar Syndrome, but I honestly don't think they could afford it, unless it some sort of short term special deal with Rubenstein.

I would love Martin as well, but my priority is a US release of Dawn.

Highly recommend the Second Sight release. I have the UHD and it’s flawless. I can’t imagine a US release will be as good.
