His examples were 24x36 reprints, so I don't think it matters. I would buy based on which looks better framed (which, IMO, is the green text one with the white border). If he is looking for original one sheets, both will have the white border.

They each go for a few dollars on eBay literally...lol. Granted they are reproductions but I would never expect to buy an original Dawn of the Dead poster. Likely any poster I (and most people) would buy will be a reproduction. I'm pretty hardcore but not $500 or even $100 hardcore. How do you feel about the ones I linked, the green one in particular since that was the one I was favoring and you can see the actual poster in the listing, not just a stock photo. Thank you for response.

I've had a nice 27"x40" reproduction of the "red" style one sheet in a frame for several years. It's got a standard white border, as I'm sure the "red" style you linked has as well, even though the item pic doesn't show it. I'd be very surprised if it's a full bleed, even though that's what's implied. Lazy presentation on the merchant's part. Pass. Besides, I agree with you aesthetically about the "green" style, too. It's really sharp looking. I may even have to pony up for one, myself.

Just for fun, here's an admirably curated site featuring one guy's personal collection, cued up to the Romero section. While it may not be comprehensive, it's really damn impressive. Plus, he's quite generous with the high quality scans. That's always a good thing.

FYI: I started tapping around a bit on Ebay, and found this outfit hawking a pretty sweet reproduction of the "green" style in standard 27"x40" one sheet format. Looks like they even went to the trouble to include the little film title that usually accompanied the NSS number in the lower right border. Essentially, this looks to be the "green" style counterpart to my "red" version. Pricewise, it's only going to run maybe four bucks more than the 24"x36" you linked to earlier. Just throwing it out there in case you might want to scale up a bit...

A bit of a tease....I just spent my Sunday afternoon writing up the huge selection of new titles coming in from Germany this week. They should all up on the site tomorrow. Stay tuned, there are some great titles and restocks coming in!

Interesting that they're using the Anchor Bay Ultimate Edition as a template for the box. I bet they'll use the Italian 4K scan for the European Cut.

I wonder if this German edition will be more worthwhile than the Italian UHD set.
The UHD on that is no better than the Bluray and presumably the German discs will all have the same source as the Italian set.
Almost certain to be Region B locked (on the Blurays)

Yes, XT video have already released these gimped transfers with the wrong video levels in Austria, I think? Even if the Argento cut does come from the new transfer, that really doesn't count for a whole lot because it's mince. And is that "complete cut" the version with everything smooshed into it from all available versions? Alllllllrighty then.

that's an unfortunate placement of the discs in that advert, makes zombie Roger look like he has a Hitler 'stache.

I'd pick this up just for the COMPLETE CUT, but I could do that myself. I'll wait for a proper 4K release - if ever?

This is likely just a German version of that forgettable Italian set I was suckered into buying last year. Gotta give them credit for coming up with a packaging style similar to that old Anchor Bay set - that's gonna reel in more suckers.
