I had been picking these up as they neared selling out, but decided financial matters were far more important. So I've missed them all since around the time 'Bye Bye Birdie' sold out. These Twilight Time releases had a history of selling out gradually, but they've really ramped it up with the sales. So many titles are selling out now. I think more have sold out in the past 6 months than the past 5 years prior.

Speaking as one of the few people who is actually going to be ordering this as soon as it goes up, I really wish they had used the original Robert McGinnis key art. It's the floating big head design that people usually complain about, but it was one of the first that I can remember doing this- and it's illustration, not PS. The photo is pretty, but kind of generic. The illustration better conveys the sturm und drang swirling over story, imo.

Woody's Interiors is my fav psychological drama. Another Woman, Crimes and Misdemeanors and Stardust Memories are also brilliant.

I checked all the nineteen Twilight Time blus I have (I have four more coming yet), and A Man For All Seasons has a scratch around the outer ring, and Love is a Many Splendored Thing has a few little dots. I'll be playing these during the week to make sure they don't affect the playback.

All the others are fine.

How to Steal a Million (1966)
You'll Never Get Rich (1941)
...and probably Year Of The Comet (1992) once I preview it. Looks fun!
Our Man in Havana?! Wow...I never thought it would make it to Blu...I will def upgrade my "Martini Movies" DVD. Well played TT . A great lineup by Twilight Time.

I think THE MAD MAGICIAN is fun, but nothing great. However, I've never seen it in 3-D, which might add quite a bit to the experience.

Throw in a couple of Stooges shorts (in 3D no less) now you have something cooking.

Viewed Zardoz for the first time in years and had a great watch . On the other hand, Mindwarp is not worth the disc its pressed on...I could only manage to watch 20 minutes of if. Not bad as in so bad but its good, but bad as in unbearable .

Assuming you are a Vincent Price fan, then yes.

If a Three Stooges fan, then also yes.

If a 3D fan and a fan of any of the above, a very big yes.

Otherwise:

Is it the best of Vincent Price movies? No

Are the 2 Three Stooges shorts with Curly? No

Are the 2 Three Stooges shorts the very best with Shemp? No*
*Assuming you do not like 3D

Am I excited about this 3D Blu-ray w/ The Mad Magician (V. Price), Spooks (Stooges), Pardon My Backfire (Stooges)? Very much a yes

My TT sale items arrived yesterday in the UK.
Finally got Man in the Dark. Wanted it for ages but the full price was a bit steep.
Same with 10 to Midnight which also arrived. A good Bronson movie but just not worth $30

Already ordered Gulliver though. Should ship today

THE MAD MAGICIAN is also worthwhile for Eva Gabor completists.

It doesn't look like anyone has posted this yet, but there is a signed promo tomorrow. I know everyone is probably pretty tapped out after the sale, but the good thing is this is on the TT site so there shouldn't be any shipping delays:

Join us at http://www.twilighttimemovies.com this Wednesday, 14th December at 4 pm EST for the opportunity to grab a copy of MURPHY'S LAW signed by the glamorous ANGEL TOMPKINS! When the promotion goes "live" just load up your cart with a minimum of $149.75 worth of TT product and the FREE signed copy will automatically be added - then proceed immediately to check out otherwise it will disappear -- these are expected to go fast - so don't delay - be there at 4 pm EST / 1 pm Pacific - sharp!

Phew, I'm actually glad that this promo isn't a title I want. I am DONE for this year.

No, really, this time I mean it.

Expecting a shipping notification from SAE today is a little bit premature and unfair to them but I'm sure shipments will be on the way pretty soon (well, as soon as stock comes in....replication has been an issue lately).
