I picked up five from that sale. I got Neil Jordan's "Angel" (AKA 'Danny Boy'); "Bandit Queen"; "The Believers"; "Audrey Rose"; and "MindWarp".

BLUE DENIM is a must for me. It has one of my favorite Bernard Herrmann scores, a score that's not as appreciated as it should be. Nice widescreen B&W cinematography, too. Like a number of cinematic adaptations of Broadway plays, the movie changes the play's ending by sanitizing it somewhat. Fine performances by Brandon de Wilde and Carol Lynley.

I'll probably also preorder AUTO FOCUS, and will consider the other two at a later date.

The "Model Shop" DVD must've had a low print run, because the OOP copies are kind of expensive. I'm glad I never quite convinced myself to pull the trigger on buying it, especially because it kind of sounds more like an intriguing misfire than a forgotten masterpiece (it's gonna be a blind buy either way).

One of my favorites. I screened it as part of a campus film program back in 1974 or 1975, and most of the showings were full houses. There were a few walkouts at each screening, which I anticipated due to the film's intensity.

February through April is looking like the strongest three-month span for TT in quite some time. It's nice to see them still finding quality titles to release.

I'm interested in the entire March lineup, so I'd better have some cash set aside for those.

Fox's on-demand DVD actually pan-and scanned the CinemaScope film

I would say it's a matter of time, and TT seems the most likely candidate.

I'm sold just on the cover alone.

Other than reading the one-line synopsis on the site entry for this release, I know nothing about The Incident.

The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974) is a favourite, so I'll be very interested to see how this film presents a similar theme.

Fox has a brand new 4k transfer/restoration for A Hatful of Rain. Let’s hope Twilight Time releases it on BD. That’s a great film with strong performances.

Good thing an actor looking or not looking like the character they are playing doesn't really make a difference. If casting directors only cast look-alike instead of the best actors for the roles, there'd be some really terrible movies out there. Anthony Hopkins as Nixon, Fassbender as Steve Jobs, both deserved Oscar-Nominees, and both looked little like their respective characters.

Anthony Hopkins as Nixon didn't bother me as much as I thought it would going in, they at least attempted to make him look the part ... and I honestly couldn't tell you what Steve Jobs looked like, so that didn't bother me either. Greg Kinnear and Bob Crane? Night and day to me, I just found it distracting.
