They hardly advertise it on the site or in store. The Arrow selection in store is nothing like the entire Criterion aisle.

All they need to do is add some arrows pointing to the Arrow collection in the stores so people are aware! (bad joke I know. har har)

Moderators: Please ban me from this thread (I need more education about today's home video distributors).
They seem to run it in tandem with the Criterion sale.

Just received this email update a few moments ago for an order I placed on the 10th:

Important Order Update

J. M.,
Below is an important update to your Twilight Time Movies order number 714xXx.

When we made our store closing announcement on Sunday May 10th, we could never have imagined the response from thousands of film collectors who have all come forward to place their final orders with us.

We are incredibly grateful for every one of your orders, and your support of Twilight Time to the bitter end.

As many of you have noted in the past two months, our ability to ship orders in high volume has been impeded by COVID-19. Our safety regulations limit our aisles to one picker per row, packing stations are 10’ apart with shields installed between stations and the team remains 6’ apart in all areas of the warehouse for both their protection and yours. This limits the number of staff we can have working and thus impacts the number of shipments we can process per day.

As a result of this huge, unexpected response with thousands of orders in the past week, our warehouse has informed us that it will take them a few weeks to fully catch up on shipments. We are now shipping 7 days a week which is allowing us to make headway and we'll continue this pace until all orders are shipped.

We ask for your patience and understanding while we work diligently to meet this unprecedented demand. Please note that responses from our support staff may also be slightly delayed as we are fielding a higher than usual number of inquiries at the moment.

Thank you.

Yeah, I just got this, too, but it's marked associated with my second order in the #73xxx's - which was only two titles! But no other word yet on my first mega-order (72xxx) from Sunday a week ago, since they informed me last Wed. that they had to pull one title. I'm going to go with 'no news is good news'... Just crossing my fingers... Perhaps they will combine orders if they notice the same customer/address?

I got a similar letter. I’d be more comfortable if I knew for sure I was going to get the titles.

I placed a really big order right at the start and they charged me the full amount, but then I noticed a refund from them of just over $100 on my credit card a few days later, so I assume I'm not getting everything I ordered that was supposedly "in-stock" at the time. I'll live, but it is a little unnerving not knowing yet which ones got canceled, and I guess I will find out only when the box arrives.

Yep I got the letter as well. Got an email Wednesday letting me know 2 of the titles I wouldn't be getting. Just hope I actually get the rest of my order.

I received the same stock letter, only after I complained. I placed an order for 2 titles on May 9th, they were quick enough to bill My Paypal account. At least using Paypal if they do not fill the order I can count on a refund. Previously, I had ordered TT Titles from SAE, colour me not impressed. TT seems happy to blame all of their problems on Covid-19.

Entirely fair no. Mostly fair yes. Your order isn't less important, but it;s not more important either. The first person to lay their money on the table out a going out of business sale usually gets first pick. If that happens to be the other business across the street that wants the bulk of the inventory then that's the way the estate sale goes.

If the customer with the wad of cash shows up 12 hrs late, throws the money down and all the little buyers ahead of him get their 'new' merchandise repossessed then that's an entirely different issue.

You'd have to say something offensive for me to take offense -- having a different opinion or take on the matter isn't.

Usually I get confirmation email and dispatch emails, but neither is 100% especially during big sales. Usually if my order is registered in my account it's safe to assume it went through.
Slight misunderstanding there, I thought your post that I replied to was saying that we all knew for long enough that there was this sale going on and people should not complain if ultimately they aren't getting their titles (for whatever reason), but it seems you though I meant that scalpers buying in bulk BEFORE private people should not be treated on a first come first served basis. I did not mean that.
However come to think of it, if I end up not getting some titles and before me there were bulk scalper buyers snatching up then I would get upset a bit but I will never know that was the case so it's a moo(t) point

All terrible, but still better than Peyton Place.

Yep, same - got this email today regarding my second order from 5/12 -- thinking maybe they might have already shipped my first one from 5/10 and just haven't had a chance to update the status. Either way, it's all good, they're working their asses off over there no doubt. The stuff will come. No emails yet about needing to refund any unavailable titles from my orders, so that's good. I will say this: when I emailed them about a billing-related question last Sunday morning, someone got back to me IMMEDIATELY; I sure wasn't expecting anyone to be there and to respond to me two seconds later at 7 AM on a Sunday morning just because I was up and about for some stupid reason! Not too shabby if you ask me (and you didn't, but I told you anyway).

I got this as well and the biggest news here is the implication that they have more than one hamster in the wheel helping with all the orders.

A Summer Place and Peyton Place are both fantastic melodrama. If you think they're both terrible, I have to imagine you're just not a fan of the genre.

Also i just can't believe someone would so openly diss a movie, I mean, "dog turd"? Wtf.
If you do that you open yourself up to be ridiculed for your taste in movies, why would you do it, maybe think before you type.
Thanks for the polite answer brainofj

I went to Twilight Time's website and half of the blu rays they have displayed as for sale, when you click on them , all they say is "add to wishlist" there is no option for add to cart. While others you can add to your cart. Beat the Devil, Black Widow, Bananas, I was unable to add any of them to my cart. But they are still featured. Does that mean they are sold out, or is there some other reason?
