I saw bluray.com today gave new release of PLATOON from Shout 5 star video score, however, from another forum, someone said it has DNR problem and the older one looks more comfortable. Can anyone please confirm which is accurate? I want to upgrade, but hesitated. Thanks.

For your Radar, beastmaster now has a DE edition. No info for you, but mention it since I believe your strikeout makes it look OOP on the list and now the good news is that its available again.

Good news. I got the AU disc just before it went OOP. It's a decent transfer, but the master used is old and it has no subtitles.

Umbrella titles seem to go OOP pretty quick sometimes. You'd think they'd sign longer license deals.

I got The Beastmaster and Night of the Living Dead (1990) within weeks of each going OOP. I gambled that they were going OOP soon and they did.

Which German version of Under the Skin has the best pq? There are two versions, one by Studio Canal and one by Senator? I'm kind of confused. The Senator version is the UniverSum version, right?

I believe the two are about the same. The main difference is the missing commentary on the US disc.

I'm watching Pan's Labyrinth UK edition and it blows away the Criterion Collection edition! How could CC drop the ball so bad on this one?
