Since I learned of the Criterion line John Water's, 'The Wall', and 'Welcome to the Dollhouse', for some reason, were all films I expected from Criterion.... That and 'Dancer in the Dark', 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch', and 'Requiem for a Dream'. Hell, any of those would suffice.

I'm chomping at the bit for certain titles, but on the other hand I'm hoping the whole year is slow if they're releasing as much Bergman as I'm hoping, cuz that's all my money would go to.

Lost Highway and Dead Man for me. I won't be surprised if Antonioni's The Passanger will be announced soon, especially since the Indicator label have already announced it for March in the UK

The Indicator release is multi-region, though, so I wonder if Criterion would be licensed to bring it out too. I'd hope so.

If you're happy with the shorter, non-director's cut, then ok. But an HD master doesn't exist yet for the 205-minute version (as least, the last I heard anyway).

True, but even Dr Strangelove was region free on the Sony Blu Ray and that didn't stop Criterion releasing it pointlessly on Region locked discs.

I think they should announce it soon or many would end up going with the Indicator release. I am currently eyeing the Indicator release.
