I recently bought mine through Amazon and was happy to see that they have a warning message about the problem with a Warner 800 number to call -- mine turned out to be fine, but I'm glad they are making people aware and giving them a number to call:

"NOTE: A small number of Blade Runner 5-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition briefcase gift sets and Blade Runner 5-Disc Complete Collector's Editions in the Blu-ray format may contain an incorrect disc #5 labeled The Work Print. In some cases disc #5 does not have the work print content but rather the content of Blade Runner: The Final Cut, which is already included in the collector's set as disc #1. The only way to recognize the error is to play disc #5 and go to the Special Features page. If you see one commentary track by Paul M. Sammon, the disc is correct. If you see three commentary tracks, then they have an incorrect disc. To receive a correct replacement Blu-ray disc #5, please call Warner Home Video at 1-800-553-6937."

I just got my replacement disc in the mail today and yes, it's the correct version. Thank god. I contacted them a few weeks ago regarding the situation of the screw-up. They asked for my address and such and told me they would contact me or send me a replacement disc when the program is up and running. So obviously they started.

tried calling the number listed in the PDF file and the posts above. Both times I get the error that the call cannot be completed to the number called. please check the number and call again....

No, as Banjo wrote, I called them to report the bad #5 disc (no workprint but the Final Cut instead) and they told me (Warner) that they only took information for the moment. They took my name, adress and the SKU.

Does anyone want to sell their mis-labeled extra copy of the Final Cut? I own the full set with the correct 5th disc but, after watching it, I think I'll just keep the Final Cut (I own the others on other SD formats). They don't sell it by itself and there are many extras out there from this gaff, so this seems to be the best way to get exactly that.

Default A full year later and the discs are still wrong!

Hey, I felt the need to sign-up just to warn people that the Blade Runner Blu-Ray is still botched. This time, Disc 1 is a copy of Disc 5. Isn't that great, I buy the Blu-Ray specifically for the Final Cut and I don't get the Final Cut. I just called Warner (after waiting on the phone for 23 minutes!) and they told me that I would need to wait 3-4 weeks. They also seem to now be having problems with Disc 1. >_<

Yep, still botched. Recently ordered mine on Amazon and my Final Cut disc is indeed a replica of disc 5. Tried contacting WB at the replacement number 3 times. Left 3 messages, no response back. Sent 2 emails through the customer service email option on their site, and received nothing over the past 3 and a half weeks. I can't find a direct number to contact WB to actually talk to someone.

Wouldn't you also know you got the wrong disc if the picture quality of the Work Print looks as good as the Final Cut? The Work Print looks like crap... I thought that might be why it is called a Work Print.

This just happened to me about a month ago. My disc one was labeled correctly but was actually the workprint edition (disc 5). I did an return through amazon and just got the corrected version the other day.
