After june 1 a trade is only 7m though then 14m in 2020.

Doesn't have to be a complete rebuild. Offense has Smith-Schuster (who in the long run may pass Brown), and you have James Conner. Defense has plenty of young talent.

No way a trade like that would happen after June 1. It would happen before the draft since Pittsburgh would likely want to get draft picks in return and the team acquiring Brown would want him in as soon as possible so he could start learning the offense and practicing at OTAs. It would also affect the moves each team made in free agency and in the draft. Pittsburgh is going to have to figure out what they're doing with Brown by the start of free agency in March.

[Ian Rapoport] The #Bengals are expected to interview assistant Hue Jackson for their vacant head-coaching job, an interview that could happen as early as today, source said. Makes sense, as Marvin Lewis endorsed him. In-house candidates Darrin Simmons & Bill Lazor previously interviewed.

C'mon, Mike Brown! Make it happen! You know you want to!

On a serious note, I almost feel sorry for Bengals fans in that the best possible outcome is Vance Joseph becoming their next HC.

I've said it and I will keep saying it: NFL needs to strip the Bengals from the Brown family. Sell the team and do a complete restart.

If Hue gets hired and goes 0-16, do you think he'll jump into the Ohio River?

NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala reports "multiple teammates" did not believe Antonio Brown was hurt in Week 17 and think Brown quit on the team.

Coach Mike Tomlin asked Brown to get an MRI on Friday last week, and the receiver declined and instead opted to just disappear from the team and never say a word to anyone until Sunday. Deemed inactive, Brown reportedly left the stadium at halftime. Kinkhabwala's reading the tea leaves and opines that Brown is "likely gone" via trade this offseason. A big deal has been made of the $21.12 million dead cap hit trading Brown before June 1 would create, but the real money savings is huge for the Steelers. Brown is due a $2.5 million roster bonus on the fifth day of the new league year in March. And Tomlin has already admitted there comes a point Brown is more of a problem for the team than he is useful. Brown turns 31 this summer and is signed through 2021.

Clueless Hue could become Minnesota's OC, rejoining Zimmer.

Why would ANYONE want to be associated with this complete LOSER?

The Patriots could easily make it work under the cap since a team trading for Brown would only be responsible for his remaining salary (none of which is guaranteed), which would be cap charges of $15.1 million in 2019, $11.3 million in 2020, and $12.5 million in 2021. The Patriots have $25 million in cap space and can create another $7.4 million by cutting Dwayne Allen and $4 million by cutting Adrian Clayborn. Still, it's extremely unlikely the Steelers would trade a star player to the Patriots unless the Patriots made a massive offer, and that would be very out of character for the Patriots.

Wait this can’t make any sense.
What about all the people who were put off by protests?
What happened to all the people who say there are too many penalties?
What happened to all the people that thought the game was too greedy?

Oh, I guess they either watched or were replaced.
Either way, win!

Penalties are still a problem, this season set a record for penalties.
