I agree, he did hold them back. On Brady's interception Gronk clearly had no jumping ability to go up and fight for that ball. A healthy Gronk more than likely makes that catch.

That's great. Looks like the prayers she asked for Tommy went unanswered.

Lol the problem with this is both times those defenses were overrated, and when looked at it in-depth enough, they were clearly beatable. Brady and some of Belichicks game planning are amazing, everything else is masked by that. Its not like he beat the Steelers or Ravens defenses of a few years ago.

Defensive Rankings:
Against Redskins (who Eli could only put 24 points on in two games)
21st in points
13th in Yards
12th in Passing yards allowed
18th in Rushing yards allowed

Pats defense
15th in points allowed
31st in yards
31st in passing yards
17th in rushing yards

Lmao Eli sure roughed up a defensive dynasty they'll be talking about for generations

Sounds like the PC police are at it again in regards to the halftime show, claiming some "inappropriate" stuff happened. I watched the halftime show fairly closely and saw nothing that offended me the least bit. It was a good show. Every year the media tries to drum up fake controversy when it coems to halftime shows.

On the radio they said someone dropped their pants. Though the person did have something on underneath. I didn't see it and I even re-watched the halftime show on Youtube.

They are probably talking about fingergate. MIA gave the finger and they blurred the entire screen for a split second.

This loophole in the rules should be fixed, 12 men or more on the field doesn't result in stoppage of clock. The Giants got to waste precious time of the clock and only gave up 5 yards at midfield.

I thought that once the Giants got into field goal range, Belichick should of just let them score a TD so Brady would have 3 or so minutes to try and score, but he trusted his worthless defense instead.

Maybe with Josh McDaniels back, the Patriots will establish some sort of deep threat again. I swear Brady was something like 3 for 15 and 5 interceptions on balls 40 or more yards down the field this season.

Nothing freaky about it, it was a technical error by the website, both the Giants and Pats had the website ready to go right after the game was decided, but the Giants just activated it a bit too early

Lol you know you'd have bought it, if it had been the raiders site

I know I would if it was the Redskins. I'd walk around with that shirt and hat on

So are the Giants gonna gave that one 49er who messed up that punt return which in turn gave them the lead and the win at one at all?

I know its been weeks, but you damn well know if they didn't mess up that Punt the giants wouldn't have been and go on to win the Super Bowl.

They usually send all the Super Bowl champion t-shirts made for the losing team to poor people around the world. A lot of 3rd world kids are going to have 2011 Patriots World Championship shirts and caps to go with their 17-0 2007 gear they already have.

So Eli's not elite because in the Super Bowl he lined up across the ball from a couple of weak Patriots teams? GTFO.

(I agree with your last statement, though, considering that he went 49-for-74 (66.2%) for 551 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT in two Super Bowl appearances against Belichick's Pats.)

lol you and me define elite different ways which is fine. All I'm pointing out is the way you phrased that you acted (or I interpreted) like he lined up against some euphoric defense like the 2000 ravens when in-fact it was simply an average at best defense, masked by some good scheme and another HOF qb.

Just trying to add some perspective. I dislike Eli, but I'm not totally oblivious to his accomplishments, I'm just not all that impressed the way he's won.

Good then whenever the redskins get in and lose, I'll be sure to have some shirts and hats imported from the Congo, or Somalia

Average? The New England defense is TERRIBLE. It's not even a shell of what is was in the early 2000's. Especially the horrible pass defense. Even Rex Grossman passed for 252 yards and 2 TD's against the Pats this season. Matt Moore of the Dolphins had 281 yards and 3 TD's against New England.

They had a big drop too, he really should have had 3 touchdowns against them

I just got a text alert via ESPN, saying "Super Bowl sets record as most watched TV show in U.S. History (estimated 111.3 million people)"

And if Lee Evans secures the ball, Brady is sulking at home during the Super Bowl. Every team gets breaks.

If the Patriots won yesterday, I think most people here would be erecting monuments for Brady. Eli wins and he still gets trashed.
