Remove Brady and the Patriots are right there at the bottom with the Colts without Peyton.

Because Eli has played like a scrub most of his regular season career who fumbles the ball untouched. He is be becoming elite.

I'm sure someone will point out that in 2008 without Brady the Patriots went 11-5, but the biggest difference between the Colts and Patriots is the Patriots don't have their offense built around one player. The Colts were Peyton's team, with the offense completely groomed for his strengths and there was no way scrubs like Orlovsky or Painter were going to be able to succeed in that offense.

19-0.

So now a top 10 offense has won the last 3 super bowls but a top 10 defense has won only 1 of 3.

Time to get a new defense wins championships saying me thinx.

Ya... because the 2008 Pats went 2-14 with Brady out for the year. Oh wait, no they didn't. They went 11-5.

I know, Pats had a better team back then. Just saying the the Pats aren't as dependent on having a great QB to win like Indy is.

I wouldn't go that far, this Pats team is probably .500 without him. They still have Belicheck.

They're not the same without him and in that division, which is tougher than people think, they'd probably go 2-4 or 3-3 without him, not to mention they probably finish 7-9 or worse, that defense is not good enough to carry a subpar QB.

Yeah, I tend to exaggerate to give some panache to my comments...

Steelers hired Todd Haley as offensive coordinator.
Running backs coach Kirby Wilson would have gotten the job if not for a late-season house fire that left him with burns on 45 percent of his body. While Haley had communication problems as a head coach in Kansas City, as a coordinator in 2007 and 2008 with Arizona he oversaw back-to-back top-12 offenses, topping out at No. 4 in the league in his final season. Haley had Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, and Anquan Boldin, of course, but he will have Ben Roethlisberger, Mike Wallace, and Antonio Brown in Pittsburgh. It's an aggressive hire on Pittsburgh's part. Haley's passing offenses have been up-tempo with lots of shotgun and hurry-up when he's been the main man in charge.

Not that far fetched to think the Pats would be terrible without Brady, this year especially... How many times did the Pats go down big before halftime only for Brady to lead them back to win the game, I know Belichek is great and all but a no name backup wouldnt be able to do that, imo they finish below .500 without Tom Brady

Broncos’ Knowshon Moreno arrested for DUI

Quote:
Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno was arrested last week for driving under the influence.

FOX 31 in Denver reports that Moreno was pulled over by Denver Police on February 1 for driving 70 miles an hour in a construction zone where the limit was 45 miles an hour. The officer smelled alcohol and Moreno failed a roadside sobriety test, according to the report. Moreno was driving a Bentley convertible with license plates reading “SAUCED.”
These guys will never learn

Tebow helped win the Madden Bowl by scoring a TD with 0:10 seconds left on the clock

I think it's almost a given he'll be on the cover of Madden 13. Also the year the Madden curse is broken.

I watched the 4th qtr again. During the closing minute when the Patriots had the ball. Brady looked bloodshot, and I bet his heart was beating twice as much from their first Super Bowl encounter with the Giants when the Pats only had seconds to score before their perfect season came to a halt.

Can the saints be the 1st team to play the super bowl in their home stadium next year.

I think getting Spags for their DC is a great step in that direction.
