Little bit of a difference between 1 labrum surgery and 4 neck surgeries, not to mention Brees wasn't even 30 at the time, Manning is 35.

I wonder what would happen with Mark Sanchez if Manning ended up with the Jets. He's due $11.25 million this season ($8.5 million salary, $2.75 million roster bonus due $3/28), and that is way too much for a backup. I could see him maybe going to Seattle and playing for Pete Carroll if the Jets got rid of him.

I think salary is exactly why there's only a small chance the Jets make a serious move for Manning. Tired of all the guys at work suggesting the Cowboys are going to get Manning, some people shouldn't be allowed to watch ESPN.

KC has a lot of cap room and if he decides to sign before draft we can draft to our needs. But I'm probably just wishing as I think Pioli still thinks cassel is the next tom brady.
Every team has 2-3 QB's actually, but if we are talking about "good" QB's then AZ has zero! Got Em!!

You're 100% right, and I think this is the best fit for him. An up-and-coming team, a ridiculous weapon in Fitzgerald, a decent running game... I like it.

They were saying on ESPN this morning that the team that gets Manning has a chance @ landing Reggie Wayne as well.

Could u imagine Manning, Wayne, & Fitzgerald in AZ together!!

Appearing on SportsCenter Thursday, ESPN 980 Washington's Chris Russell said he's "hearing" free agent Peyton Manning does not want to play for the Redskins and has already informed people in the building.
"A couple of different sources inside the organization have told me that Manning's camp made it pretty clear to Redskins officials he doesn't want to come here," said Russell. "... Unless that changes -- and I'm taking my sources at their word -- I don't think Manning's coming to D.C." The Redskins had hoped to make an aggressive offer to Manning, per the Washington Post, but there won't be much they can do if the feeling isn't mutual.

Yea but why does Wayne keep saying lets play in Miami? Is he from Miami? I know he went to college there but not sure where he is from? I think he would just try to follow Manning where ever he goes. Got Em!!

Great news for Buffalo today as Scott Chandler resigned with us. I still can't believe this guy has been cut four different times, he had a great season for us last year even with being injured on and off. He's a matchup nightmare in the red zone.

Wayne is actually from New Orleans, as is Peyton Manning. But Wayne's connection to south Florida is that he played for the Canes in college.

Believe it or not Reggie Wayne and Andre Johnson were at Miami at the same time. How's that for a college WR combo?

Well he got cut by us because we have Jason Witten and for some reason are in love with that idiot Martellus Bennett, who will probably be let go this year, creating a hole at #2 TE which will probably have to be filled in the draft. Thankfully you can find those guys late.

Just not a good year for Peyton is it? He gets injured and was out for the season and then his brother wins the super bowl in his own house and to top it off he basically gets fired. So good luck with that Colts and going back to being crappy. They shouldn't expect much from a Rookie Quarterback.

or if there is a thing as Kharma whatever Peyton goes to beats the Colts in a Championship or divisional game.

Did you watch ANY Andrew Luck college games? The guy has already been running a pro-style offense for years at Stanford. He's not some project rookie QB. He'll step in on day 1 and be very effective. If the Colts had ANY doubts about Luck's readiness to be a starter on day 1 they would have brought back Peyton to guide him. The fact that they didn't tells you they are convinced he's ready.

It doesn't matter how good you are in college. It matters good you are in the NFL. I mean how many other top draft picks have they've had that busted in their first season. Speaking of busted, who's to say he doesn't get a busted leg or something serious to put him out for the whole season?

I'm just saying they are betting a awful lot. But I'm not a colts fan so i don't care care if they suck or not. I remember back then when they were so horrible.

Andrew Luck is undoubtedly the best NFL prospect I have seen since P. Manning. He's as good as advertised, if not better. Not to mention he had the tutorship of QB guru, Jim Harbaugh. He's going to be a STUD in the NFL. It's not really fair how some teams like Green Bay and Indianapolis have all the luck. (No pun intended) The Packers go from Favre to Rodgers and the Colts go from Manning to Luck.

All I'm saying is it doesn't take much to shatter a kneecap from one hit gone bad in a pre season game. But I'm not a colts fan so I don't care. And were just have to wait and see. Nothing is really guaranteed in sports. Nothing! Except the obscene amounts of money they get paid, that's about it.

True. But even Andrews in an interview said that injury would stop most careers.

Cause we pay $$$$$$$ ... And most of the guys we get are selfish enough to take it, I thought it might be the case with Peyton (that he just wanted money) since he was unwilling to re-structure his deal. But I give him kudos if he doesn't take Snyder's money. Maybe that will wake up the FO that you need to have a team if you really want high quality free agents.
