I'm curious as to what the Jets will get for him. He's going into his contract year and just had ACL surgery. They're asking for a 1st and 2nd, but there's no way in hell they will get that.

Now, multiple doctors are saying that based on the severity of the injury, RG3 is unlikely to be ready for the start of the season and there is a chance he could be sidelined the entire year.

Dr. Michael Kaplan spoke with ESPN this morning and downplayed the comparisons to Adrian Peterson who was able to return from a torn ACL in time for the start of this season. "Obviously it is more than [just a torn ACL]" said Kaplan. "It's a horrendous injury. It's the ACL and the LCL, the outside ligament which is really a tremendous insult to the knee."

While Kaplan sounded hopeful for RG3's quick return, he was also realistic. "It's a huge rehab," said Kaplan. "6-8 months is a modest number in my mind...But I think it is a little bit of a long-shot to think he's going to be ready by September...I tell people, 9-12 months minimum for the regular athlete before they get back to change-directional, cutting-type sports."

Elway to Marino Movie to Premiere on ESPN

The popular ESPN “30 For 30″ series of sports movies returns with new installments soon, one of which will focus on the 1983 NFL Draft.

Entitled “Elway to Marino,” Sports Business Daily reports that the movie will be a collaboration between NFL Films and director Ken Rodgers and will focus on the six quarterbacks taken in the first round of that year’s Draft, including the three Hall of Famers: John Elway, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino.

The story will also dive into the significance of this particular class for the league, which was coming off a player strike and attempting to keep the USFL at bay.

The movie is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, April 23rd and 9pm, just two days before the start of the 2013 Draft.

Who has it better than the Bay Area? The 49ers are in the Super Bowl, Stanford won the Rose Bowl, the Giants won the World Series, the Oakland A's pulled a comeback to catch the Rangers for the AL West title, and the Golden State Warriors are back in contention in the NBA (no need to mention the Raiders). There aren't many cities or regions that have won a World Series and Super Bowl in the same season. The Baltimore Orioles and Colts did it in 1970, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers did it in 1979, the New York Mets and Giants did it in 1986, the A's and 49ers did it in 1989, and the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots did it in 2004. The 49ers are trying to make it another double for what could be an unforgettable sports year for the San Francisco area. Who has it better than the Bay Area? Right now, nobody!

I will though, be happy if they win, as most of my family are 49ers fans, and its nice to see hardcore fans happy to win a title, as it was for me when my team finally won a title (SF Giants).. Def a GREAT feeling!... And it will be great for the city of SF and the bay area in general to have won a title in both major sports the same year...

They want the Moon too?

No way in hell are they getting a 1st and 2nd picks for a player coming back from a acl injury.....maybe a 7th

Someone will undoubtedly give up too much for Revis. He is too hyped not to warrant at least a first rounder.

If he would be willing to sign an extension that would certainly up the ante. Even if he doesn't someone will probably offer a first with hopes he can come back even half as successful as Adrian Peterson.

I heard on the radio this morning that Revis is looking for a deal that surpasses the six-year, $96 million contract that Mario Williams got last year. There's no way any team would give Revis that much coming off an ACL tear, but if Revis won't agree to a deal with a team that trades for him then his value is much lower to the Jets because teams aren't going to give a lot for a potential one-year rental whose contract stipulates he can't be franchised.

Honestly I'd rather use a 2nd or 3rd rounder on Tyrann Mathieu and totally blow it than trade away our draft, a player, and give a 96+million dollar contract and have it go wrong.
