it doesn't matter, he's a top 15, borderline top 10 qb atm and he'll get paid as such

talk about fragile, Kolb gets 10 mill, heck, Flynn gets 8 mill to sit on the bench, there's no way Vick doesn't get at least that

I'm one of those who believes signing Flacco to that much money will ensure he never gets close to the Superbowl again.

I do see why he'd want the money now though. This is probably his one chance to seriously cash in, there are no guarantees (who would have thought 10 years ago Brady would not have another ring?)

Here's the ridiculously early Vegas odds for winning next year's Super Bowl. The teams at 20:1 or better...

New England 6:1
San Francisco 7:1
Denver 8:1
Green Bay 10:1
Houston 12:1
Seattle 12:1
Baltimore 14:1
Atlanta 16:1
New Orleans 18:1
Pittsburgh 18:1
NY Giants 20:1

The longest of longshots...
Jacksonville 200:1

Odds on who performs at next year's Super Bowl halftime show:

Alicia Keys 10:1 Seriously? Her pre game performance this year was terrible.
Jay-Z 10:1
Lady Gaga 10:1
One Direction 10:1 Oh hell no, better not be.
Coldplay 12:1
Neil Diamond 14:1
Paul McCartney 14:1
Rihanna 14:1
U2 14:1
Taylor Swift 16:1
50 Cent 20:1 Haha, censors would love this.
Justin Bieber 20:1 Even worse than One Direction. He'd get booed out of the stadium.

Even if the Jags were a winning team. We still don't get the respect.

As for Halftime performances. The Benyonce one was really weak! Can't believe 50 Cent is even mentioned for a halftime show for a Super Bowl. He premiered his new song live during the Pacquiao-Marquez 4 in December and it was AWFUL!

SB pick: broncos over giants.

Halftime: lady gaga just to see her pop out of a huge football.

On that list of names I posted the only performers I even remotely like are U2 and Taylor Swift. If I had to take a guess I personally think Rihanna or Jay-Z would be the most likely to get the gig. Though it could be Swift. She's a country singer but has quite a bit of crossover popularity.

It's in Jersey, I'm surprised Bon Jovi isn't getting more traction.

Too bad you can't do that little trick in Madden where you'd change the players you want to resign to Punter and and pay them around $500.000 a year and then change them back
that's exactly what i did too! year in and year out when my buddies showed me that i thought that was the coolest thing

Where are Skins, Cowboys, and Iggls! Forget the Giants!

Keys was good (all she did was play the piano and sing the NA), everything else were some of the worst performances I've ever seen.

I'd put 49ers ahead of Pats

49ers look like a team that can only go up from here
Pats window closing? still a questionable D and lot of free agents to handle this offseason

Keys sang our National Anthem way too slow, but I've seen much worse.

NE has like 18m in cap space. They could do a lot.

Redskins and Cowboys are 30:1. Eagles are 50:1.

I'm sure you'll be happy to know that ESPN considers the Redskins the best bet given quality vs. odds.

What's scary is they apparently started at 150:1 and have already moved down.

Last night on NFL Network they showed a replay of the Super Bowl with different footage than was shown on TV. On the final play of the game Flacco was going around telling his teammates that if the punt returner broke free then they should run on the field and tackle him. Flacco admitted he didn't know the rule but likely thought that would just be a 15-yard penalty, but in actuality the 49ers would have been awarded a touchdown if that happened.
