i didn't know this was up for debate. for as bad as Cutler is at times they completely fell apart without him down the stretch last year. same thing would've happened this year. they may still stink up the place some games, but Cutler is needed for that team to have any chance.

I do agree with you. But it is a bigger risk for the Niners than other teams. San Francisco isn't some 4-12 type of team where growing pains are fine. This team is a Super Bowl contender right now. He's going to have to prove himself immediately or they'll go back to Smith.

What I said before. Smith was doing good last year and the games he started this year so far. They said during the game that Smith was 20-5-1 in his last 26 starts. Still think we could have gone to the Superbowl and won it. If it weren't for that fumble that happen in OT.
