Moviefan I am a huge Pats fan but I thought the Texans would put up more of a fight then they did. Brady and the Pats stomped the hell out of them. I dont care what the so called experts say but if and I say "if" the Pats and Texans meet again in the championship game and its at Houston the results will be the same. But thats if Houston is still the number 1 seed which with their defense being what it is I doubt it. The Pats are rolling but I have to admit the 49ers scare the hell out of me and my team better be ready this coming Sunday.

As a 49er fan I'm really interested in this game. Pats are usually a machine in December and I want to see how Kaepernick reacts to the playing over there and how the running game does. Any idea how the weather is going to be at game time? It's a late game

More then likely the weather is going to be crap because they will be hit by the same system that hit us here in Minnesota, but who knows? It will be a great game for sure. I respect the hell out of the 49er's and that Kaepernick is turning out to be a good QB. We could be looking at a potential Super Bowl preview in this game.

A couple weeks ago the media were all talking about how will the Pats do without Gronk. Steamroll a couple teams and they've forgotten about him already. Gronk could be back for SNF.

Credit the Dolphins for being the one team that didn't get completely owned.

great job to my Texans for their ever impressive beatdown on national television... again

as wacky as the league has been in recent years, Houston will likely be one and done. both high profile nationally televised games this year (out of 3) they curbstomped (Green Bay, New England) and while they played Chicago on national television, the Bears are the Bears and it doesn't count lol.

Patriots game was embarrasing because it wasn't like they returned the opening kick or had a huge play for a score early and then the wheels blew off, the Patriots just did what they do and the Texans seemed like a team who had never seen Tom Brady before.

shockingly enough, they still play Indy twice, so Houston could go from the #1 seed to a wild card in 3 weeks!

disgusting!

I was disgusted too but will stick with my boys no matter what. I have been through too much to give up on them now.

Go Texans!

NFL considering expanding playoffs

Quote:
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell spoke Wednesday after the December Special League Meeting in Dallas. The meeting was held in large part to discuss issues that later will be raised with the NFL Competition Committee, including eliminating low blocks and the implementation of mandatory pads.

But Goodell mentioned one issue that will get the attention of fans above all others: Expanding the playoffs.

"Right now we're with 12 teams obviously. We'll look at probably 14 or 16 teams," Goodell said.

Goodell made it clear that the competition committee has considered such expansion in the past, and it clearly hasn't happened. The benefits of more playoff games are obvious: more teams involved in the race late in the season, and theoretically more television money.
Yes please!

Aaron Rodgers WAS NOT Wearing A Thong, Says Aaron Rodgers On Radio Show

Quote:
Wilde asked, “Why were you wearing a thong?”

“I was wearing three layers up top,” Rodgers says.

“Maybe you lost a bet,” Wilde shoots back.

“Do I have to talk about what my undergarments are,” Rodgers answers with a slight chuckle.

Rodgers says the black thing is a shirt that he had tucked in. As for if Rodgers cares about this sort of juvenile stuff being posted on blogs or Chicago radio station sites, he enjoys our humor.

“I laugh at it. It’s silly,” he says.

Isn't the point of being in the playoffs meaning to win all season and to have the better records to win your division?

That's just like in little league sports that hands out trophies to all the kids. Mainly ones for them doing nothing and doing their best.

Patriots over the Falcons in the SB.

I got a hunch that maybe the way it's going to go down.....last two times I had a hunch like this Payton Manning and Aaron Rodgers were holding the Lombardi Trophy....but hopefully I'm wrong as I would like the Packers to win it all again

P.S. I got a strange "feeling" about the Cowboys.....as they say "You stand at the foot of the wall. What is your next move?"

Ahh but wtf do I know, its 4am and I'm half drunk.

your only half drunk and you think the Falcons get to the SB? you are incorrect, because you must be fully drunk to think such a ridiculous thing

sadly, Falcons and Texans will likely be one-and-done in the Playoffs. which sucks because the Texans are my team and that would be a fun Super Bowl to watch, but i just don't trust either team in a big game.
