Great news for the Buffalo Bills. No disrespect to Mr. Wilson, as he has been very influential over the decades, but this is how the Bills are going to go forward as an organization. I suspect we are also going to see Doug Whaley be much more involved with things as well. It's no secret he is going to be our GM in the very near future. This is a great day for Buffalo Bills football.

I've been hearing that our top three head coaching candidates are Whisenhunt, Grimm, and Marrone. I'd be very happy with any of them, but would prefer Grimm or Marrone.
Yeah but its still not complete discretion. I'd have agreed if he SOLD the team, but if for instance Whaley wanted Wilsons most hated arch rival to coach the team Wilson could swoop in and say no.

From everything I have read, Wilson is going to have nothing to do with running the team. Brandon, Nix, and Whaley have complete control. Maybe we'll come after your boy, Kyle.

I will block list you if you do that .

Like I said until he's completely gone as owner he can come back anytime he wants, same as Dan Snyder. But its a good step if he can really turn the keys to his baby over.

Mr. Wilson is 94 years old, I don't think he has very many days left. Jim Kelly and Terrence Pagula (Sabres owner) have been the most vocal about wanting to be future majority owners of the team. I would not be surprised to see the two team up to make a very lucrative bid when the opportunity would present itself.

will be interesting now that Reid is with Kolb again...

maybe he'll try him for a year, maybe he saw something in him and can "fix" him? or, since he traded him, he may cut him

as for Barkley, that may be the case - although i'd fear for the Cardinals that they draft a USC QB way too high and he turns out to be a bust... just like last time (Leinart) and i think a team from NY did that as well, but ESPN never talks about teams from NY so it's hard for me to remember if they did as well or not...

what's really, really frightening about this year's draft is that there are NO viable, worthwhile 1st round QB's to choose from. especially not top 10-15 and yet, of the first 10 picks, 7, 7 could use a QB (among many other things) - KC, JAC, OAK, PHI, CLE, ARI, and BUF)

Yeah, a quarterback and/or a running game would solve almost all of their issues. I don't think Whisenhunt was the problem at all.

We need one too but there's no obvious replacements, we may need to have an open competition between Orton and Romo and then go get a better QB in 2014.

Maybe they can trade for Romo, after all he sucks and Dallas would be fools to keep him.

Up until RG3 I'd have stepped over my own grandmother for a qb with Romo's regular season stats.

Oh come on now. An "Open competition" between Orton and Romo is no contest. Even with the interceptions Romo wins that and it's not close.

Kyle Orton's Interception %(2.7%) is practically identical to Romo's(2.8%) and Romo dominates him in all other stats.

Even this year's Interception % was 2.9% for Romo, as bad as it's viewed at the moment.

Incidentally, why is Interception total the stat people use for Interceptions? Is it any wonder that Drew Brees and Romo have really high interception totals compared to other QBs...when they are both required to throw way more than almost anyone else in the league?

If Romo got a new team without Garrett and Jerry Jones he'd have a chance to pull a Steve Young.

If I was Jerry Jones and I owned the cowboys I'd be calling the plays I was running in madden from my suite, during the game

LOL I doubt it. You can't escape the choke gene Romo possesses. Look I like Tony but he is what he is. A guy who puts up great numbers but isn't a winner.
