There was no holding on Crabtree either. Crabtree initiated the contact so he could push off, they both were beyond the line of scrimmage by five yards and then the ball has to be catchable to be called pass interference when the throw was not made well. A very good officiated game. No game will ever be 100%, but this was done well. |

Just like the Patriots handed the game to the Ravens. Flacco didn't go in Gillette Stadium and school Brady. I'd say Brady looked bored and the rest of the team didn't show up that day. Why? Only they know. Still, The Ravens aren't elite now...just like they weren't elite when they won in 2001 with Trent Dilfer. |

I wouldn't spend my time coming in here and calling them "not elite" and "lucky murderers". The unabashed short-sighted hatred in this thread is ludicrous. And as for that, I really hope Aaron Rodgers nevers wins another super bowl. I've seen too many Packer-to-49er bandwagon fans just made outrageous statements because they got bounced out of the playoffs two years in a row now. I've only seen such "entitlement" from Patriot fans. |

I have a helluva a lot more respect for Steelers fans than Patriot/Packer fans.

On that day, they were the better team. In Foxboro, after playing 5 quarters in Denver, they manhandled the Pats. You can call talent and statistics into question all you want. The scoreboard doesn't lie.

Does that make the 2010 Cleveland Browns elite too? On Colt McCoy's second and third start he beat Drew Brees in New Orleans and Tom Brady in Cleveland.

So we are going to compare Colt McCoy's games in the regular season versus Flacco's games in the postseason lmao. You have no leg to stand on here. He's a Super Bowl winning QB and McCoy should be flipping burgers. You're reasoning is comical.

To be quite honest I really don't give a damn what anyones opinion is on Tom Brady or Colt McCoy. They aren't making me any money so I'm not going to get emotionally invested in defending them. If you wish to grind the pepper of Joe Flacco, feel free to do so. A debate without snarky overtones and hostility is always enjoyable, but I don't think I'm going to get that out of you. |

Give me a break, seriously whats with all this horsecrap in this thread this morning. I wake up expecting to see conversation about how this game was everything we had hoped it would have been, which from my view it was a great game with emotion on both sides, and all I see is panzy complaining about how the 49'ers were robbed, and there a missed call, and god turned out the lights.
This game was phenomenal the best SB in years it had emotion it had 2 very good teams playing there hearts out, and I hate to break it to you guys complaining but there were non calls on both sides. The ONLY thing that killed the 49ers were the Ravens, they came to play. That Jacoby Jones Special teams 109 yard KR was the difference maker in the game end of discussion on that. Up until the lights went out the momentum was all Baltimore. Flacco had 3x TD's and 263 yards on the stat sheet. When the lights went out the momentum shifted to San Fran for what was almost the greatest comeback in Super Bowl History the 49'ers had 190 yards to 20 and 2x TD in a little under 13 minutes, the game was phenomenal everything I asked for and more. I have not heard one person complain about this game until I logged into this forum, those of you complaining are being nothing but obtuse fanboys and need to cut the crap right now. Either enjoy the game for what it was or shut up and don't post in the thread. |
