Was just looking at DHBs stats wasn't aware he was so close to 70 and 1000 in 2011... What did I tell you he needs at least 5 years to fix what fridge didn't teach him. Too bad Dennis Allen set him back too!

Then the jets can have 3 QB's they don't know how to use.

revamp those secondary..they are useless when the Smith brothers don't rush the QB.

The last 6 games, the 49ers defense gave up 30+ points average.

They need to revamp that secondary...

Like I said, the 49ers win the SB if only the defense shows up..and they didn't. 22 points behind is too much to overcome.

Even if 49ers score that last TD, I have a feeling Flaco would just pass for another TD in 2 minutes against that 49ers defense to win the game anyway.

The Jets can't afford Alex Smith. They're already way over the cap and can't afford to spend another $8.25 million on the QB position when Sanchez already has a cap number over $12 million. They'll likely end up with a QB like Jason Campbell who will get something like a one-year, $2 million contract.

He very well could end up there. I would also say Cardinals, but they don't wanna trade him within the division and having something like the Cardinals winning the division. Cause that would just make the niners look silly for how they treated him.

I heard on knbr that 49ers own him...already paid him bonus and a lot of money for his rights so they are going to trade him to get something in return instead of releasing him.

Yeah, Revis is due $6 million next year (although he has a $9 million cap number, not sure how much it'd be if he's traded). I just can't see a team near the cap devoting over $22 million to the quarterback position ($12.8 million for Sanchez, $8.25 for Smith, $1 million cap hit for cutting Tebow, and $571,000 for McElroy). In addition Rex Ryan is going to fight any potential Revis trade because he knows he has to win now to keep his job and getting rid of their best corner isn't going to help.

Edit: Per the New York Daily News if they trade Revis before June 1 they'd take a $9 million cap hit.
