This bums the sh!t out of me!!! Really wanted him to be able to retire in GB!!

Can’t be mad @ him though….it’s not like he didn’t do his job while he was here. This is the part of the game that I absolutely hate!!! the “business” side.

paying a young QB who is the heart and soul of your franchise vs. an aging Safety.....i understand why they did it....still doesn't make me feel any better.

Woodson would stick his nose into any situation to make a play and not give a damn about the consequences!!!

he's a fantastic player and hope he gets another ring....just not @ the Packers expense!!

There are rumors that the Rams are going to release Titus Young, who they picked up off waivers 10 days ago. Former ESPN commentator Rob Parker, who was fired for his comments on RGIII's "blackness," reported that Young will be cut and may never play football again. The Rams wouldn't comment on the report.

And its official Thank You St Louis

Quote:

Rams waived WR Titus Young.

The topic is expected to be addressed at a Jeff Fisher news conference Friday to introduce new defensive coordinator Tim Walton. Young's history of genuinely idiotic and self-destructive behavior makes his nine-day "stint" in St. Louis a non-surprise. Young is just 23 years old and brimming with talent, but it's beginning to look less and less likely that he'll be playing NFL snaps anytime soon without some sort of a significant wakeup call.

I forgot that SL hired the Lions' secondary coach as their new DC. He probably told the SL front office everything about Young.

The Lions didn't get any benefit from the Rams claiming Young. The Lions had already paid all of Young's guaranteed money so the Rams claiming and dropping Young didn't cost the Rams any money or save the Lions any money.

There is no loyalty in the NFL. Look how easy the Pack cut him despite how good he was there. He'll go wherever the best opportunity is.

Speaking of loyalty, the Colts just let Dwight Freeny go. I thought he would retire a Colt.

I'm not surprised the Colts aren't going to try and re-sign Freeney. He wasn't near as effective last year with the defense switching to a 3-4 and is much better suited to a 4-3 defense.
