ESPN is reporting there are two more teams that want to work him out as well. They are just workouts, I think it's to satisfy people's curiosity more than anything else.

The media killed Tebow with the Tebow Mania. He's a huge distraction. You have to feel for the guy, he's a really good man that I have a lot of respect for. I do think eventually he will be willing to switch positions and someone will sign him.

I wonder when it's going to be announced which team will be on Hard Knocks this year. Last year they announced in late May and with training camp starting next month they'll need to get a team picked soon if there's going to be Hard Knocks this year.

HBO would love to have it every season, but most teams don't want to be on it. It's added media presence, and also giving away some of your coaching strategies and player involvement.

On one hand that would be really cool, but on the other I don't want the rest of the NFL getting our secrets. We have a really impressive young team with a great coaching staff, I'm really excited for our future. But that doesn't mean I want us on Hard Knocks.

Jim has 4 tough brothers and a tough old man and they all eat, drink, fight and stick together (closer than close). They are typically Irish (my family is exactly the same way). The Kelly clan could use a break and some GOOD news. My prayers are with them.

i would never want my team on that show. talk about distractions...have the jets do it again..they are the definition of a circus

From what I've read, HBO is really having a hard time getting any team to want to do it. I love Hard Knocks, but I can understand why teams don't want the distraction.

Big loss for the Browns:

NFL confirms Browns WR Josh Gordon suspended two games and fined two more game checks for violating Policy and Program for Substances of Abuse.

Gordon was the Browns leading receiver last year as a rookie.

Edit: Gordon's excuse:

“In February, I was diagnosed with strep throat for which a doctor prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine. Apparently, the medicine I took contained codeine, which is prohibited by the NFL policy,” Gordon said in the statement. “The policy terms are strict about unintentional ingestion, but the NFL has not imposed the maximum punishment in light of the facts of my case. Therefore, I have chosen to be immediately accountable for the situation. I sincerely apologize for the impact on my team, coaches, and Browns fans. I look forward to working hard in training camp and pre-season, and contributing immediately when I return in week three.”

Note that the NFL will not comment on why a player was suspended for substance abuse violations, so while this could very well be 100% true even if it's a complete lie the NFL would not come out and say Gordon is lying.
